19/06/2024: A CONTRASTING EXPERIENCE BETWEEN GOODNESS AND NON-WELCOMEMENT The Bar Papillon in Porto d'Ascoli is a place that enchants with its attractively designed environment and a quality breakfast (I would like to point out that we came many times). We opted for two millefeuilles and two lattes, both excellent in taste and freshness. However, I must mention one aspect that affected my overall experience: the hospitality of the owners. Every time we come here to have breakfast as per the upbringing received from our parents we say hello, which is not a given here, and today after a series of times (where the same welcome was evident) after having made a compliment on the quality of the products, I noticed an austere and detached attitude on the part of the owners. They did not respond to my compliment, remaining cold and annoyed, a situation which contrasted with the beauty of the place and the products offered. It was an unpleasant moment that undermined the feeling of well-being that a bar of this type should offer. Therefore, if you are only looking for the goodness of the products without expecting a warm welcome, the Bar Papillon could satisfy your needs. However, IF A SMILE AND A WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE ARE ALSO IMPORTANT TO YOU, YOU MAY BE DISAPPOINTED!
