Gelateria A Cuvea In Alassio

Everything is very good, it's a shame that they increased the price of the cone and also decreased the quantity... Terrible value for money, it's a shame, I hope they come to their senses, otherwise there are other valid options nearby.

An excellent address in Alassio! We stopped at "A Cuvea" almost every evening during our stay, and each time, it was a real treat. The artisanal gelato is simply delicious, with authentic flavors and a perfect texture. The lovely outdoor space is a real plus. Be careful, though: to be seated at a table, you have to order gelato "à la carte" and not to go—good to know. I didn't try the Sicilian granita, partly out of fear of being disappointed. For a real granita, I'd fly to Catania and head to Bam Bar or Don Diego in Taormina! But for excellent artisanal gelato in Alassio, "A Cuvea" is without a doubt the place to go.

We stopped at this ice cream shop for a cup of ice cream. We tried both the single flavor ice cream and more elaborate cups. Everything was very good, even the authentic Sicilian brioche.

The ice cream is very good and preserves nostalgic flavors such as: Sicilian cassata and Malaga

I am a Cuneo native who has lived in Catania for 10 years and if I want to eat a REAL Sicilian granita in the north, I am sure to find it here. Those who criticize it obviously don't know it or are used to our crushed ice with syrups. Maybe lucky but I have NEVER encountered rudeness, poor service or delays in service. €6.50 for a "Brioscia" with granita is far from the €2.50/3 in Catania but I believe that the management costs are also very different. I will continue to go there
