Gasthaus Zum Vahrner See In Varna

Very nice campground, especially when camping with a tent. The owners are very nice, as are the people serving cold beers at the reception! ;p Even though we came during high season, a reservation for our small tent was not needed. The nearest busstop is 10 minutes walking and, if desired, you can walk along a very nice forest path to Brixen in around 45 minutes.

A well-kept campsite with clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, the camping meadow is mostly sloping, which is somewhat unfavorable for sleeping in a tent. We were passing through and only stayed one night and it was a good choice.

Sadly it's not possible anymore to swim, walk or bike around the lake

It was great here, an outdated campsite but somehow romantic. The staff was in a great mood, I even got something to eat and drink on the rest day in the restaurant. All in all, you have to visit here! If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely stop here again.

A nice little place to stay overnight. On-site activities are limited, but there is a playground and a nice restaurant. The sanitary facilities are functional.

A super relaxed and fun campsite, pleasant, friendly, nice beer, nice restaurant. The tent pitches are not all straight and the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but we enjoyed it! This is how a campsite should be!

My husband, Ties, our dog, and I enjoyed staying at this campsite. We were warmly welcomed and given great tips for exploring the area. So we walked on the PLOSE. Super surprising! The tunnel was exciting with a caravan of 4.60 long. Thank you for this!

Really great “camping family” Beautiful natural campsite. We were there 9 nights. We stayed there for the Alpine flair and felt very comfortable. The campsite is a family business and everyone is super nice 🫶 we'll be back. Thank you dear Marlene. The access is exciting, see photo 😜😂🙈

Not bad, but the bathrooms are so-so. In the women's room, the handle fell off and you had to use the men's door... 😅 there was paper. Maybe for 1 night. We were on our way to Tuscany. However, the lamps were off and it was dark as a tomb at night, and it was a long walk to the toilet...

We were passing through this campsite in a VW bus 🚐. The staff was very friendly! Free choice of place to camp on a large meadow, like it used to be on almost all campsites, really great :)
