As other reviews have said, if you're a superficial person who only notices the cutlery, furniture, and other nonsense in four restaurants, stay home. Here you'll find simple, authentic cuisine, made with love for the diners and using fresh, home-grown ingredients. I returned after four years and found the tastiest Kaiserschmarrn I've ever tasted. Don't expect the kind you'd find on a glossy magazine cover with powdered sugar and shiny fruit, which tastes nothing when you eat it... here it's served a little burnt, not the prettiest thing, but served with a fantastic wild plum compote, it becomes the Emperor's omelette, my absolute favorite. As for the speck, I'm speechless... sublime. Congratulations!

If you want to eat in a truly simple, peasant setting, this is the place to be. If you're a picky eater, don't go here to criticize.
