Fra Diavolo In Alassio

The pizzas have excellent ingredients, but they're cold and don't really blend well with the pizza itself. The burger was tiny for €20, and the quality was so-so. The focaccia was too thin, and the cheese was everywhere. We waited forever both to order and to be served. Even the refilled water arrived almost at the end of the meal. The price was high.

Pizza (with a capital P) rated 8+. Nothing to complain about. The taste is truly delicious. Among the best around. The Diano Marina pizza is superb. Location, on the beach. PS: We discovered that the pizzeria is no longer Fradiavolo. Good thing, they seem to have gained from the separation.

Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. Right from the start, we noticed that, as English-speaking guests, we were treated less than warmly. Even though we had a reservation, we struggled to get a seat – it seemed a little disorganized. The food was okay, but the pizza wasn't anything special – there are definitely better options in the area. Overall, it wasn't a particularly pleasant experience.

I was very hesitant to rate the restaurant, because the food and ambiance would deserve a full 5, while the service (mainly for one waiter) would deserve a 3. 4 stars is the right compromise, and now I'll explain the rating. Let's start with the very positive side: the quality of the food is truly excellent. Not much to say; the photos speak for themselves; all the dishes were well-executed, tasty, and made with high-quality ingredients. Now for the more negative side: in a tourist destination, with a restaurant that's not even full, you can't be anxious about customers, give hasty, evasive answers, and be clearly unwilling to respond (I'm talking about a waiter who also served us). This was then repeated at the tables next to us, even addressing French customers with the phrase "Oh my lord!". They didn't understand the curse, but I did, and I was tempted to tell them. You're lucky enough to have high-quality, well-prepared ingredients and a restaurant in a prime location. Remember, if a customer who doesn't speak the language asks you a question, they deserve to be treated politely and respectfully, not sweared at behind their back.

Delicious pizza, one of the best I've ever eaten, a quaint place with very kind owners, I highly recommend it!

The place was beautiful, the food was good, but it was a shame that due to the staff's lack of clarity regarding a change in an ingredient in a salad, and a further mistake on their part in the order, we found ourselves paying an unfair price.

Very rude and don't give you much importance or time. You can't book by calling, only on The Fork (they don't specify). The pizza is very, very good.

Personally, I don't remember ever eating such a good pizza until now. Truly of the highest quality. Congratulations

Tried the Gran Fritto del Mare e dell’Orto – let’s just say the sea and the garden didn’t bring their A-game. The calamari and shrimp were doing the bare minimum, and the veggies seemed confused about their purpose. As for the pizza... still a bit doughy, like it wasn’t quite ready to leave the oven but got kicked out anyway. Not a total disaster, but definitely not a culinary triumph either.
