I've been there several times now, and every time I'm blown away by the deliciousness and quality of the pizza, burgers, and fried foods... basically, everything in general. It's become my favorite pizzeria, keep it up 💪🏼

Let me start by saying that I bake and also make pizzas. I chose to visit Forno Due because I was a little tired of always spending time in the center of Reggio Calabria, and I saw some interesting products, even from the photos. I had the croquette, which was very good and plentiful; I really liked it. The beer selection was good, the place was very welcoming, not at all noisy, and the atmosphere was warm. Very good service, clean bathrooms. The pizza is a contemporary Neapolitan pizza; if you're looking for a crispy pizza, forget it; it's not for you. I love pizza in all its forms, and I liked this one. The only negative I often find in pizzerias, and unfortunately here too, is that the dough is perhaps a little too heavy for the diameter it covers, which sometimes prevents you from continuing on to the dessert. The dough was rolled out well, perhaps slightly oval, but it's still an artisanal product. I give it 5 because I liked the overall experience, it was new and well-made, the quality is evident, and I'll be back to eat there when I return to Calabria.

Forno Due in Campo Calabro is the perfect pizzeria for those seeking authentic ingredients, a light dough, and a super-digestible pizza. You can immediately sense the attention to quality, fresh, and authentic ingredients, which make a difference from the first bite. The dough is light, fluffy, and well-leavened, perfectly cooked, adding flavor without weighing you down. One of the most striking features is its digestibility: even after a large pizza, you feel full but not weighed down, a sign of meticulous workmanship and expertly respected leavening times. One note: I would have preferred Calabrian craft beer, rather than just from another region!

What can I say: ALWAYS A GUARANTEE! When quality doesn't diminish with popularity. Appetizers, burgers, white/red pizza, homemade desserts, all top-quality. Reservations are required, as the place seats about 50 people, often full tables. Despite this, they manage to maintain a high level of service and are quick and efficient... especially on a Saturday night. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Want to talk about the prices? I'm just saying the homemade dessert is €5, unlike so many other pizzerias that sell you frozen or pre-packaged tiramisu for €7... customers really notice these things!! There were two of us, on a Saturday night, seated at around 9:00 PM, and we had dinner in maybe 2 hours, or even less. 1 Nonna Rita pasta frittata (perhaps the breading was a little thicker than usual), 1 pistachio crocchettona, 1 Margherita pizza, 1 Sentimento pizza, 1 dessert pizza + water + 1 draft beer...paid around €50, I'd say super affordable. A must-try!!

A nice and welcoming place, some of the tastiest and most authentic pizza I've ever eaten, with top-notch quality ingredients. Compliments to the chef, who is also the owner's wife, who runs the restaurant with quality and courtesy. All the staff are also top-notch.

25/02/2026: If you want to eat well but don't have much time, you've found the right place. High-quality rotisserie and traditional cuisine. Need some advice? Try the Sicilian Pidoni, the arancini, and, during this time of year, the rice salad. Then there's the lasagna, which is fabulous. Also try the stew.
06/02/2026: A simple, clean, and unpretentious place on a side street between Via Garibaldi and the Lungomare promenade. We stopped for lunch and loved it so much we came back the next evening! The pitoni and eggplant meatballs were spectacular, all washed down with a good Messina beer. The staff is incredibly friendly and approachable, making you feel right at home. The prices are very fair. If you're looking for a true, old-fashioned rotisserie, this is the place to go.

21/12/2025: We ordered some crispelle to go, truly delicious! They make them on Sundays at 12:00, hot and fluffy. The ones with sun-dried tomatoes, zucchini, and olives are delicious. The place is well-kept. The staff is friendly and welcoming!
14/12/2025: What a Scilla delight. Sunday lunch was buonissimo. Service was very pleasant and welcoming. We can’t wait to return.
