Excellent bakery in Ostuni, I went there this morning to buy traditional bread, I found what I was looking for at a very reasonable price, 1 kg of durum wheat bread €3.50, 1 kg of wholemeal bread €3.50, excellent, in a very comfortable environment, very helpful in explaining the product, recommended.

Today, October 29, 2025, together with my wife we bought foccacia with onion and foccacia with tomatoes and mozzarella. We liked both very much, the lady in the shop was nice and helpful, we recommend it to everyone.

I'm still dreaming about their onion focaccia four months after coming back home. Go early in the morning when they're fresh and warm, we went back in the afternoon and they were cold! we also bought ten bags of taralli as we had high expectations after trying their focaccia, but it wasn't enough :(

It was interesting to see a bakery that was already there in the 15th century!
The products were all great, it was difficult to choose! We tried the onion and the tomato focaccia, stuzicchini and biscotti al 7 cereali. The pasticiotto is DELICIOUS! 🤩
You'd rather arrive early because it can happen that they run out of the most popular products!

The cookies were delicious, but you could get better taralli everywhere. The focaccia is probably made according to an old recipe, which was interesting to try. It was nice to see such an old bakery. Google listed opening hours as starting at 4:30 p.m., but the owner didn't arrive until just before 5 p.m., but he was a very nice gentleman. Signs indicating what was available would have been helpful.

I think it's a historic bakery, very warm inside but beautiful. The croissants are good, but I suspect they're frozen because they look a lot like the ones in a bar in my city. They're good, though, but extremely expensive: two croissants cost €3. Crazy for a baker. We also had the taralli, which I love, but I wasn't crazy about them; on the contrary, they were. The staff is always sullen... But I think that's a characteristic of the place because I've noticed it in other places too. Who knows. It doesn't take much, especially with friendly customers...
