Having been on holiday in Sardinia for around 3-4 days at the time of our visit here we had got used to the way things work here in regards to eating times for evening meals. Don’t expect to sit down to dinner at 6pm like in the UK! We arrived at Food Lab for somewhere around 7:30 ish to find we were the only customers. This lasted for until about 8 when a few other tables had customers. It always feels a little weird when your the only ones there, and due to the location kinda felt like we were in someone’s garden 😂. The lady who served us was very polite and professional. I went for a burger 🍔 with egg and fries in it!!! To be honest, it was nicer than expected as it didn’t look that great when it arrived yet I was pleasantly surprised! Very tasty 😋. My wife also ordered a burger, but a chicken one. She said the chicken was very small, tasted ok but felt it should been a larger fillet. Overall it wasn’t bad, if ever I’m in the area again I’d probably go back if I fancied a burger as the pricing was ok.

Our order was mixed up, anyway, which was fine for us. Food was fine. However, we asked if they serve hugo spritz and they said yes. This is our favourite cocktail which we order all the time, so we know how it should taste. The cocktails we received here - it was no way near Hugo Spritz, we did not like it, the taste was odd and bad, I could not finish mine. Not to mention, that we have been charged 10 euro per spritz - the most expensive spritz we had in Sardegna….

Found this place by chance, doing a Google search, we ate very well and the staff was too kind

Prenotato per la sera di Ferragosto, il posto è all'aperto, non distante dal centro e con parcheggio proprio. Si può mangiare un po' di tutto, dalla pizza ai piatti tipici sardi, dalla carne al pesce. Abbiamo mangiato cose diverse e ci sono piaciute. Vasta e apprezzata la scelta di dolci. Personale giovane ma ben preparato ed efficiente. Prezzi alti ma normali per la zona. Pessimo solo il bagno. Ci hanno concesso di lasciare l'auto nel parcheggio per fare un giro in centro dopo la cena, veramente gentili.

Location could be improved, on the other hand it is very close to the centre. Friendly and polite waiters but slow service. I ate a cut, average meat, a little nervous. Prices slightly below the local average.

Excellent and plentiful for the price. The staff is very friendly and this is felt even in the kitchen. I recommend!!!
