The line you have to stand in at certain times to order here is more than made up for by the quality of their products. The focaccia alla genovese is fabulous, soft and with a very light crust on top—a 9/10. The best canestrelli I've ever tasted are here; they're truly unmissable. The same goes for the baci di dama, the mattonella, and the gobeletti—you have to try them! I found the cheese focaccia average, though; honestly, I wouldn't buy it again.

We had a piece of brick for a snack and loved it. For those unfamiliar with it, it's a typical Genoese dessert made from two biscuits with a layer of chocolate and various dried fruit in between. It has a substantial specific weight but isn't cloying or difficult to swallow. The perfect snack after wandering up and down the alleys.

Don't let appearances fool you; this focaccieria makes some of the best focaccia I've ever tasted. Not only do they offer dozens of different flavors, but the ingredients are all fresh and the staff is very friendly.

I took a day trip in search of the most Genoese thing possible... and I was not disappointed. The focaccias were simply sublime and we tried so many there. From focaccia focaccia to the one with tomato, the one with olives and... my favorite with onion!!! My kids kept making noises of satisfaction at the unique flavor of the food and complimenting the girl who served us so much deliciousness!!! Because they were truly exceptionally kind and friendly!! It's worth coming back just for them!! Thank you, you made our already fantastic day... unforgettable!!

A wonderful focacceria open 365 days a year, offering delicious classic Genoese focaccia. If you like sweets, you must try the gobeletti. A must-try every time I pass through Genoa.

A historic focaccia shop just steps from the cathedral. Its location is excellent, but sometimes lines are long. This, however, is the only drawback: the focaccias are all delicious, from the first to the last. The classic Genoese is recommended.
