Fish'n Street In Genova

A pleasant surprise. I was shopping at the Oriental Market and noticed this little place, located at one of the market's exits/entrances, which I've probably passed by before without stopping. Today, however, it intrigued me, and I decided to have lunch there. A simple place, with a very family-friendly atmosphere. Pleasant. I had lunch at the counter outside (inside, it seats about 10-12, between two or three tables and the counter). I ordered a glass of wine and some stuffed mussels, which were truly excellent. The price was right for the balance between ambiance, quality, and cost. Definitely recommended! Well done!

Fantastic! I found a spot on the balcony overlooking the kitchen, and chatting with Mrs. Caterina simply made me feel at home. We talked about local fish, wine production, time-honored recipes, and the ambitions of new restaurants. We "old-fashioned" people favor simple tastes and warm, Mediterranean manners. I won't tell you about the food because that's subjective. 😀 Thank you, and see you soon.

The dish was good, but the amount of octopus served was truly disappointing for the price. It didn't even amount to 80 grams, a rather small portion for what you'd expect for the price. I would have expected something more generous, especially considering it was the main ingredient.
