Very rustic place, South Tyrolean as it should be. Well-garnished and well-cooked dishes, in a classic menu of local dishes. It's a shame, despite the name and the fish that set the scene for the place, there is no offer of lake fish on the menu which, among other things, is just a few steps away from the place... who knows why I expected it...

Luckily we had reservations. The shop is very popular, no wonder super delicious food and nice service 😋 top recommendation

Delicious food à la carte or törggelen menu. Historic inn with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff who were very helpful in accommodating us even though it was full. They still made us feel welcome guests

Rustic, rich and delicious offering

Immer wenn wir in Kaltern Urlaub machen, gehen wir mindestens jeden 2. Abend im Fischerkeller essen. Das Essen ist südtirolisch gutbürgerlich und super lecker!! Der Inhaber und sein Team sind gut drauf, sehr flott und machen alles möglich, selbst wenn man keinen Tisch reserviert hat (sollte man aber besser tun). Die Knödel sind mega lecker, das Gulasch ist der Hammer! Aber auch das Carpaccio sucht seinesgleichen. Hier wird Preis-Leistung groß geschrieben. Interessant sind auch die großen Tische, hier kommt man schnell mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch. Im Sommer sitzt man auch sehr schön draußen im Garten! So ein Restaurant wünschten wir uns auch in unserer Heimat. Viele liebe Grüße von Reimund und N.
