Excellent pizza, but really poor service. Personally lazy, who responds brusquely to an explanation about a pizza with an inappropriate joke allowed. Not to mention the uselessness of the 2 euro cover charge: I have never seen a restaurant that places the cutlery directly on the placemat (which I hope is washed customer after customer). Is putting a napkin under the cutlery to prevent it from touching the plastic placemat too complicated? And I advise the waiter to be kind, because if a customer asks for information on a product (badly written menu description), it is not plausible to get an annoyed response.

Excellent local Sicilian food in a neighbourhood restaurant just up from the harbour in Scoglitti. I was part of a group tour, and we had a fixed menu with 8 different local dishes! The food was great, especially the fried squid. Service was fine. The atmosphere was slightly disturbed for visitors by a huge screen TV on the wall, belting out a news programme. The owner obligingly turned down the volume at my request. A lot of locals frequent the restaurant, which proves its worth. We all enjoyed the food of Sicily with a local twist.

Great place for fish cooked to perfection. This is our go-to place for a good family fish dinner. Dinners are limited to the daily catch but you can order ahead of time for specific fish meals. Very accommodation to all clientele. Locals come to this long-time restaurant location with a very good reputation. I would stick to the dinners, here, as the pizza is just “OK”. Great selection of wines, too. This place is a repeat visit for a very good full dinner.

16/07/2025: I thought it would be better... Quite disappointing. Maybe we'll go back to give it another try. The meusa sandwich was stale; if they'd reheated it, it might have been much better. The spaghetti with clams didn't taste like seafood... the clams were flavorless, the whole dish tasteless. The arancini were decent. I've had better ones from the supermarket... The caponata... that was decent too... I didn't want to be too critical, but since it was specifically requested...
15/07/2025: Expectations fully met. For those nostalgic for Sicilian cuisine, it's a safe haven. The spleen bread is top notch, the arancini are arancini, the caponata is top notch, the panelle are top notch. I'll definitely be back; I have to try the rest. Service 3, not for the staff; they work 200% but are few... this causes a bit of slowdown or leftovers. I had spaghetti with clams and brusiate with pistachio pesto and shrimp... excellent, but they had been resting. This is the only feedback I can give the owner. I got my money's worth, I recommend it, and I hope to return soon. Fra. Palermitan!
