Fauno Bar In Sorrento

Nice place on a popular square. But I got a cappuccino that was probably the worst I’ve had in 4 years I italy. The omelette was dry and the waiter actually asked for a tip. That’s a first for me in italy. There are better places

It's very well located, and the quality of its dishes is quite good. The service from all the staff is very kind and outstanding.

A good place for lunch/or dinner, really upscale, delicious (a little expensive) but delicious. The pastas, pizzas, salads and wine

We stayed in Sorrento for 4 nights recently and had dinner twice here. The atmosphere was perfect for us, situated in the heart of Piazza Tasso where people watching is the main attraction. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. We ordered the Insalata Nizzarasa that came eggs, tuna, olives, onions and potatoes as a starter, and then Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, followed by the best pizza we had ever had! Pizza con salsiccia (sausage) e melanzane (eggplant). Plus ordered a bottle of local red wine (Anglianico Janare Rosso) that was very reasonably priced and so delicious! The second time we went we had to wait for a table but the owner/ host gave us each a glass of prosecco on the house and had us wait in the bar area until our table was ready. Also, the bathrooms are the cleanest I have seen in Italy or anywhere else! The prices were very reasonable and an excellent value. I highly recommend Fauno Bar for drinks and food!

Great restaurant. We went there twice. The food was truly delicious. I had the best salad there. In a lively piazza. Simply wonderful.

The pasta is very good, as is the service; it's a great option for a hearty and delicious meal.

Great atmosphere for people watching on the busiest street of Sorrento. The trade off is their not so great food. Pasta was average, fish was bland, even the easiest dish caprese salad was just meh.

A fantastic restaurant located in the heart of Sorrento. Situated on the main square. Excellent and attentive staff serving great food. We have visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The food is delivered freshly and in a timely manner. A great place to eat, drink and people watch in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We will always return.

Last night we had a lively fun and great tasting dinner at Bar Fauna in Sorrento. I had spaghetti with cherry tomatoes & my husband had gnocchi. Both were outstanding. When we arrived the restaurant tables were full so they offered us an inside table with complimentary prosecco until a table was available ~ about 5 minutes Very fun atmosphere & great food. Highly recommend!
