Farina 44 In Chiavari

My husband offered me a weekend to visit the Cinque Terre. Our base was Chiavari. We found this restaurant where we were able to dine without reservation. We were placed outside under an outdoor heater. Excellent pizza, crispy and soft dough, topping with fresh produce. Extra pasta with pesto (basil sauce typical of Liguria). We enjoyed ourselves. When paying a very reasonable price, the manager spoke a little French. I really recommend this place.

Le pizze sono veramente ottime e soprattutto digeribili. Locale carino e personale gentile. Ho trovato il conto un po' altino, soprattutto il coperto a 3 euro mi sembra troppo.

Very nice atmosphere, cross-vaulted ceilings with solid sandblasted bricks, rustic furnishings, soft lights, everything very beautiful and classy, ​​the location between the alleys is beautiful. As regards the service, the welcome was immediate, they made us sit right away and were also very kind in showing us the menu, however the staff in general seem a little lost, there are several waiters and kitchen staff wandering around the place without a real purpose, furthermore the manager made some warnings in the room, without lowering his tone of voice and in front of the customers, it doesn't seem professional to me... One thing I can't explain is why we had to wait 35 minutes for the pizza and 3 customers who arrived well after us were served after 10 minutes and well before us, in any case it was a leisure evening and I spent that time chatting with my husband, but I recommend offering 2 olives or a few pieces of focaccia to buffer the downtime a bit. The pizzas are good and also very particular, however I didn't like that the dough is rolled out by machine, giving an "industrial" appearance to the product, the desserts are very good. The price is in line with the location and the offer. In summary, perhaps the organization of the staff needs to be reviewed but it is a place worth trying.
