Due Palme In Santa ninfa

Unique and spectacular restaurant to try and try again, you come to eat and you stay to taste everything!

I was there yesterday, September 2nd, and immediately made friends with the pizza chef, an artist of 20 years, who makes incredible, even imaginative, pizzas. The pizzas are truly fantastic, even the cassatella. I recommend it to everyone. It's a shame we live an hour away, so I think it'll be hard to go back. Anyway, thank you, and go there; they're waiting for you with a smile. :)

We had a delicious pizza, excellent ingredients, and fair prices. I was just passing through, but if I ever come back, I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!!!

Abbiamo scoperto il Ristorante Due Palme di Santa Ninfa grazie al consiglio di un’amica, e ne siamo rimasti davvero entusiasti! Provenendo da Palermo, l’uscita consigliata è quella per Salemi; se invece si arriva da Mazara del Vallo, è più comoda quella per Santa Ninfa. Siamo arrivati intorno alle 13 passate in una domenica di piena estate: l’accoglienza è stata immediata, lo staff gentile ci ha fatto accomodare a un tavolo perfetto per due. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto misto abbondante e delizioso: zucchine e melanzane impanate, un involtino di melanzana, crocchetta, panella, arrosticini di maiale e una coscetta di pollo. Tutto ben cucinato e molto saporito! Come primo abbiamo diviso una porzione di busiate con stufato di carne al pomodoro, piatto tipico e davvero gustoso. Il gran finale è stato la crema catalana: una meraviglia! La crosta di caramello, croccante al punto giusto, si rompeva sotto il cucchiaio lasciando spazio a una crema vellutata e profumata. Complimenti sinceri allo chef, ai proprietari e a tutto il personale per la passione e la gentilezza. Da Palermo siamo arrivati qui quasi per caso, ma è stata una scelta azzeccatissima. Consiglio il ristorante anche per una gita estiva o un weekend nei dintorni. Il locale è chiuso solo il mercoledì. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

We discovered the Ristorante Due Palme in Santa Ninfa thanks to the advice of a friend, and we were really enthusiastic! Coming from Palermo, the recommended exit is Salemi; if you are coming from Mazara del Vallo, the one for Santa Ninfa is more convenient. We arrived around 1pm on a Sunday in the middle of summer: the welcome was immediate, the kind staff sat us at a table perfect for two. We started with a delicious and abundant mixed appetizer: breaded courgettes and aubergines, an aubergine roll, croquette, panella, pork arrosticini and a chicken leg. All well cooked and very tasty! For the first course we shared a portion of busiate with tomato meat stew, a typical and really tasty dish. The grand finale was the crema catalana: a marvel! The caramel crust, crunchy to perfection, broke under the spoon, leaving room for a velvety and fragrant cream. Sincere compliments to the chef, the owners and all the staff for their passion and kindness. We arrived here from Palermo almost by chance, but it was a great choice. I also recommend the restaurant for a summer trip or a weekend in the area. The restaurant is closed only on Wednesdays. We will definitely be back!
