I had the pleasure of dining again in this beautiful place and it was confirmed to be a guarantee.
Excellent service, with friendly and always kind waiters, excellent house appetizer with various typical tastings, highly recommended.
The first courses were delicious, of the 3 I took all were really excellent, but the spaghettone cacio e pepe with courgette chips was highly approved.
Also the house tiramisu made well!
I recommend it to everyone!!

Duca di Castelmonte is located in an oasis of peace, a relaxed area, far from the confusion of the center. And with a view of Mount Erice.
Clean rooms, new and modern bathrooms. Excellent division of spaces. Large and clean pool, excellent also the external rooms, even if I have not stayed in these personally I had the opportunity to see them from the inside. The food is excellent, km 0, of the highest quality, you can perceive the genuineness of the products: very good ricotta with various cheeses, appetizers, first courses and the complete menu.
A certainly positive weekend.

We stayed in this B&B in May 2025 and slept in clean, nice and tidy rooms with bathroom, in the morning it is possible to have an excellent breakfast, also possible to have dinner in the restaurant: to point out the great availability and courtesy, definitely to recommend.

Enchanting place immersed in nature where everything smells of history and tradition ... the ancient Sicilian music performed divinely seems to transport you to another dimension ... boundless spaces in the middle of the greenery with swimming pools, games and animals, an ideal place even for the little ones. The staff and the owners are fantastic!! They always welcome cordially and with a smile. The family-run company prefers the use of organic products (for the preparation of delicious dishes) grown by the farmer who proudly shows customers his harvest ... not to mention the interesting culinary demonstrations, such as the preparation of ricotta and much more. A place where you can savor authenticity, serenity, history and tradition. Highly recommended!

We were here with the camper. Super nice agriturismo with swimming pool and excellent restaurant. They serve very tasty, not expensive dishes in a very family atmosphere.
You feel very welcome here. Everyone is friendly and concerned. Neat, on the camper site there is a "house" with shower and sink and toilet that is cleaned every day. Very nice camping between the olive trees.
Beautiful location to visit Trapani and all kinds of sights in the area. Trapani is within cycling distance.
We also wanted to visit Erice by bike and cable car. However, it turned out to be closed for several days ... On the domain they looked for a solution and that was a ride to and from Erice by taxi driver Gaétano. He picked us up at the camper and provided a careful, breathtakingly beautiful ride. He even stopped on the way to let us take pictures!!!
In short, a wonderful place to stay. Thank you, Charlie, Gaétano, Stella and all the others I don't know by name!!! 🙏🤗👌❤️

I can review this place regarding the lunch on May 1st this year. Excellent location, from entertainment to delicious traditional cuisine. A place surrounded by well-kept nature with the possibility of walking and being in contact with the animals of the same structure

A Lunch and a Mystery at Baglio.
Ah, the Baglio Duca di Castelmonte... a name that resonates with echoes of a changed past, a whisper of what once was. I remember well, in the carefree days of high school, that elusive companion, now, it seems, wrapped in the mist of this transformed place. An ancient oil mill, a beating heart of another era, now metamorphosed into a temple of taste. Irony of fate, or perhaps a subtle twist of fate.
April 25th, a date steeped in memories, led us into the walls of this farmhouse, an experience costing 50 euros each. But the price, ultimately, is only an earthly convention in the face of what has unfolded.
Past 1pm: The Open Air Unveiling
Ricotta Calda (Zabbina): A warm apparition, a warm cloud that dissolves on the tongue, foretelling deeper mysteries.
Pane Cunsato: A rustic enigma, a mix of flavors that tells silent stories of land and sun.
Sfincione: A soft taste that veils a secret, an invitation to peer beyond the surface, an explosion of flavor.
The Forbidden Corner: New broad beans, a verdant secret torn from the earth, and seasoned pecorino, a bold whisper that piques curiosity.
At the Table: The Fall into the Labyrinth of the Senses
Roundup of Appetizers: A kaleidoscope of small mysteries, each a closed door waiting to be unhinged.
Lasagna with Nebrodi Black Pig Ragout: Layers of dark desire, a slow revelation of a wild and elusive taste.
Busiate alla Trapanese with Diced Aubergines and Chips: A sensual knot of pasta, an embrace of flavors that culminates in an ineffable abandon.
Rich Grilled Meat on the Barbecue: A triumph of virile fragrances, the succulent promise of a primordial passion.
Baked Potatoes: Warm and enveloping, a side dish that comforts with its enigmatic simplicity.
Mixed Salad: An ephemeral interlude, a light sigh before being once again enveloped by the mystery of taste.
Fruit: Sweet epilogues, sugary whispers that seal a fleeting pleasure.
Tiramisu: A cardinal sin, a voluptuous dance of coffee and cream that captivates the senses in a whirlwind of forbidden pleasure.
Cassatelle and/or Cappiddruzzi: Treasure chests of unexpected sweetness, jealously guarded secrets that are revealed with the fragility of a dream.
The Final Embrace (50 euros per person): Water that calms an inner thirst, local wine that lights the soul with a hidden fire, coffee that awakens the dormant senses and bitterness, the last sip, an indelible seal.
And my schoolmate? Spotted, they said it hovers between the tables, in memory of a disappeared oil mill. Perhaps, after all, the entire Baglio is imbued with this elusive presence, a mystery that lies behind the magnificence of every dish, in every sip of wine. An experience, therefore, not only culinary, but a small journey into the labyrinth of memory and the unexpected.

Se siete alla ricerca di un'esperienza culinaria fenomenale, non cercate oltre. Il loro menu è un capolavoro culinario e offre un'incredibile selezione di piatti che soddisfano gusti e preferenze diverse. L'atmosfera è calda e invitante e il personale è cordiale e attento, rendendo tutto un vero piacere. Ho festeggiato il 18 esimo di mio figlio, e come già mi aspettavo, visto che ho frequentato il duca di Castelmonte diverse volte , non sono mai rimasta delusa: è davvero una meta imperdibile per tutti gli amanti della cucina".
