Duca di Castelmonte In Trapani

There were only two of us campers with a single bathroom. It was very good in these conditions, but probably less so if there were a lot of people. (It would be good to trim the trees to make it easier to maneuver with the campervan.) The welcome was warm and the restaurant was excellent. We had half a pizza left, and the waitress spontaneously offered us a box to take away. Well located for getting to Erice.

Quiet place, until mealtime. The trattoria's quality-price ratio is quite good, although it's a bit pricey for the stay.

Wonderful people, food and entertainment

A truly stunning location. Recommended by a friend, I went there for dinner. Delicious pizzas and fair prices. I highly recommend it.

We were there one year ago, in June. We keep very fond memories of the days we spent there with out two young kids. They still remember a lot of details from their days "in the castle" :-) Having breakfast in the little "terrace" in front of our house, enjoying the silence and the surrounding nature, felt like a lost eden. The girls enjoyed the animals, the playground while we waited to be served dinner, and exploring the surroundings. We enjoyed the food, the very simple but very beautiful traditional architecture, and the relaxed vibe. The downside: little and dark kitchen and many mosquitoes (nothing that can't be solved with a morning bath in repellent :-D). We really recommend it for families.

I had a wonderful stay at Duca di Castelmonte! The location is great to explore the west of Sicily. And the agriturismo of Duca di Castelmonte is really beautiful. The rooms are great and even cleaned daily. The food in the restaurant is very tasteful! The pizza’s , the pasta’s, the deserts, it was all so nice and it’s hard to pick a favourite dish. The family is very welcoming and they are really lovely people! I’m planning to come back some day in the future.

Beautiful location, both the entire building(s) and the beautifully landscaped park are simply stunning. We received a very warm welcome from the son (?), who also took the time to give us a tour and explain the history of the estate. We slept in a glamping tent, exceptionally luxurious! The air conditioning worked like a charm, the bed was heavenly, the shower was wonderful, and there was a small kitchenette. We ate in the restaurant three times, and the quality was excellent. The first two times, the service was provided by two women, impeccable, fast-paced, and always smiling, even though it was incredibly busy. The third evening was a disappointment in that regard; we arrived at 8:30 PM, having made a reservation for that time. It wasn't until 9:15 PM that one of the men (who were running around like headless chickens and seemed completely clueless) arrived at our table, and we immediately placed our order. The wine and first course (just charcuterie and cheese) didn't arrive until 9:55 PM, but there was no bread or water. The pizzas arrived at 10:30 PM. The men didn't seem to enjoy their work at all, they had no overview, and never reacted cheerfully or kindly. We got the impression they needed a supervisor, someone who could keep things under control. What a shame about this, our last, evening.

Ho soggiornato con la famiglia per 2 notti e mi sono trovato abbastanza bene. Posizione ottima e strategica per chi vuole girare trapani e dintorni o andare alle isole Egadi. Pizza ottima personale gentile e cortese piscina e dintorni bella e accogliente
