17/09/2025: My wife and I spent two days there. The self-service is very intuitive: you can choose from a variety of gelato and yogurt flavors, with a wide selection of sprinkles, chopped fruit, toppings, and chocolate chips from various brands.
The quality of each product is excellent; we especially enjoyed the yogurt, especially with the lemon shortbread cream, and the Happy Hippos.
I recommend everyone passing through Forio to try at least one and fall in love with it. The lady who served us was also very friendly and helpful.

The self-service yogurt selection is highly appreciated, and knowing you'll have to pay by weight doesn't limit your imagination when it comes to choosing toppings. I personally created an architecture worthy of the Baroque period, with yogurt as a base and divided by four toppings (berries, dark chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel) as if they were the four seasons of the year. I also sprinkled coconut flour and a bounty on top, creating the Valhalla of desserts. In the end, I paid around 13-14 euros (I got the large bowl, which was over half a kilo), adding a nice bubble tea to my order, which I consumed after my psychotropic opera. I truly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the peace of mind of free choice and the certainty of the quantity of toppings, which are usually "wrong" in non-self-service establishments.
