It's really worth taking a detour from the Etsch cycle path (Via Claudia Augusta) and enjoying the sun, delicious Alpitz, great beer, and the amazing service at the Dorfcafé Plaus!

A truly cozy café with a lot of heart! The family who run it and their dog 🐕 Lucy are incredibly friendly and make you feel immediately welcome. The value for money is absolutely spot on, and you can tell that this village café is also very popular with the locals. What's especially nice is that dogs are not just tolerated here, but genuinely welcome – our Bruno received just as much warmth as we did. We felt completely at home. Thank you so much, we'd love to come back! PS: We didn't eat anything, so no review.

A modern café with a small snack menu. We had a great goulash soup and a delicious baguette with cheese, ham, and tomatoes (hot) – very good! Clean restrooms and a lovely view of the Romanesque church. Definitely recommend it!

It's a great place to sit and enjoy a Veneziano (or something similar). The tiramisu cake was also delicious. We cycled over from Naturns several times because it was so nice!

We went there for the first time this year and were absolutely thrilled. Super friendly, great drinks, homemade cakes, delicious snacks, and large portions. Great ideas for drinks. Highly recommended.

Residence Pitzinger

07/10/2025: Our stay at the Residence Pitzinger was perfect. We were personally greeted by Mr. Paul Pitzinger upon check-in, and all the important information was provided. We also received active assistance when looking for directions to the Three Peaks. The rooms are architecturally beautiful and equipped with everything you need (kitchen, bathrooms, shower, balcony, etc.). The breakfast was the absolute highlight, with a buffet that left nothing to be desired. I would definitely return to this hotel! Friendly hosts and a very nice hotel with good food.
25/09/2025: Guys, I've been away for two months. I've honestly never forgotten this beautiful residence, the wonderful location, and the most friendly and helpful host. I'll be back again.
