A truly charming and characteristic restaurant located in an 18th-century manor house, it offers plenty of indoor seating in two charming rooms. The food is truly excellent—see the photos to believe it—the prices are fair, and the staff are friendly.

Excellent food, very nice place, welcoming and clean. Five of us went plus our dog. The owner was very kind and helpful. If I ever come to those beautiful places again, I know where to go for good food :)

Everything was excellent, even our little Pekingese was welcomed. The dishes were delicious, the lemon dessert was excellent, and the background music was wonderful. The place was very nice.
We highly recommend it.

A lovely place near the Basilica of Castelpetroso. Local cuisine, including delicious meatballs and house antipasto. The caciocavallo cheese and house amari, such as ratafia, are excellent.

I stayed in Castelpetroso for a few days, and for all three days I chose to eat at this small, charming restaurant, where I enjoyed delicious dishes. I recommend it to anyone who happens to be in the area. 🔝🔝🔝

Cenare da Donna Carmela è stata non solo una esperienza eccezionale dal punta di vista culinario (piatti cucinati ad arte e con materie prime del territorio, pane fatto in casa etc), ma soprattutto dal punto di vista umano. Maria Luisa ci ha accolto con calore, con una sorriso autentico e una gentilezza ormai rare da trovare.
Da Donna Carmela troverete non solo cibo genuino e cucinato con passione, ma una ospitalità sincera che sarà difficile dimenticare

Leggendo le recensioni e volendo fare un pranzo veloce siamo arrivati in questo locale senza prenotazione.
Accoglienza sobria, cibo di qualità.
Non ho dato il massimo del punteggio perché abbiamo preso solo dei primi piatti e non potevamo giudicare il resto del menù.
Pasta fatta in casa ottima.
