A welcoming atmosphere, authentic cuisine, and truly impeccable service: Donna Carmela is a wonderful discovery. I tried the Molisan ravioli and the stew with apples and almonds: both delicious dishes, rich in flavor and prepared with great care. I'll definitely be back!

A restaurant in a quaint Molise village where you can enjoy traditional dishes. I found everything delicious and of excellent quality, both food and wine. I was particularly delighted by the chickpea gnocchi and the meat with scamorza and truffle. The dessert selection is also good. Definitely worth a try, at least once in your life.

Excellent food, cozy atmosphere, but we waited too long for the first dishes, then the others arrived in quick succession, leaving us unable to enjoy them at our leisure.

We stopped in Castelpetroso and were recommended dinner at Donna Carmela. The staff were very kind and always smiling, and the food was delicious. I recommend the stew and, if they have the daily specials, the soup. The price is more than fair. 🫶🏼

Compliments to the chef: the pappardelle with wild boar was excellent, the cut tender and well-cooked, not to mention the lemon scallop. Unfortunately, the distance didn't help. Highly recommended.

Leggendo le recensioni e volendo fare un pranzo veloce siamo arrivati in questo locale senza prenotazione. Accoglienza sobria, cibo di qualità. Non ho dato il massimo del punteggio perché abbiamo preso solo dei primi piatti e non potevamo giudicare il resto del menù. Pasta fatta in casa ottima.

Piccola trattoria ben tenuta e accogliente. La proprietaria di casa gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato piatti buonissimi e belli da vedere. Molta tradizione e km 0. Genuinità e competenza hanno fatto sì che la cena fosse spettacolare.

20/07/2025: tavern that recalls past years. Local cuisine with traditional dishes prepared with first choice ingredients. Accompany your dishes by ordering the excellent "house wine". The bill, together with the quality of the meal, makes you want to come back. lastly, I want to highlight the owner's passion for jazz which can be listened to pleasantly in the background
08/06/2025: Beautiful place with a rotating chalkboard menu. Outdoor seating when weather is nice but also a wonderful interior space. Everything was delicious and you can really taste the quality in every bite. Service was excellent too! Can’t wait to come back and try more.

21/05/2025: This is arguably the best restaurant in town at the moment. Creative and innovative dishes combined with thoughtful extras such as fresh homemade bread.
