It was the first time and I liked it. Easy to reach. The only flaw is the parking because the open space in front is undersized compared to the pleasant place.

Rustic and enchanting place in a Molise village a stone's throw from Isernia. Welcoming and with a magical atmosphere, very good and carefully prepared typical local food and dishes. Excellent value for money, I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area. I thank the very helpful and prepared staff. I will return as soon as possible.

A great discovery next to Isernia. Food of excellent quality. The best gnocchi di zucca with sage, donkey and salted ricotta I have ever tasted, cooked perfectly. Not to mention the bread, which they make in the restaurant itself and which is spectacular! Super charming place. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you feel the warmth of home. The owner of the business is extremely professional, educated and has a great passion for her work. I will always remember this meal with great affection.

Eravamo già stati in questa trattoria lo scorso anno, guidati da Tripadvisor dopo essere stati a visitare le cascate di Carpinone. Eravamo stati molto bene, ma avevamo fatto una tappa veloce e volevamo tornare a trovate Roberto e Maria Luisa. Così siamo tornati, e questa volta non siamo stati bene, ma benissimo!! Tutti i piatti erano sublimi, con sapori delicati ma ben riconoscibili, dalla zuppa autunnale con funghi, castagne, tartufi, patate e spezie, per continuare dei gnocchi deliziosi con guanciale croccante, delle pappardelle con baccalà, pomodorini, olive e capperi, poi fetta di caciocavallo alla griglia con uovo e tartufo, e per ultimo una trippa meravigliosa (detto da uno che non mangia trippa). Per finire dei dolci meravigliosi, ad un prezzo assolutamente corretto. Un grazie a Roberto lo chef e a Maria Luisa la maitre, per aver saputo creare questa piccola chicca nascosta nel Molise di fronte all'abbazia di Castelpetroso. Bravi bravi bravi!

Nice location located in the historic center; friendly and professional staff. The menu is not very rich, but the dishes are good...traditional cuisine with a modern tone.

Locale carino in un posto sperduto sui colli molisani, ci siamo andati per due volte e per due volte abbiamo mangiato in maniera divina. Pochi posti a sedere ma accoglienza e trattamento da 5 stelle. I proprietari marito e moglie ci hanno accolti come se fossimo stati lì ogni giorno, cibo eccellente e soprattutto fatto con prodotti freschi. Conto nella norma e simpatia estrema. Ci torneremo di sicuro non appena passeremo da quelle parti.
