Don Antò In Isola del liri

place recommended us to stop by Don Antó for his exceptional pizza and the enchanting location right next to the famous waterfall that crosses the town of Isola del Liri. Unfortunately I called to book and they told me it was all full. By now we had planned to go to Isola and we went there looking for some other pizzeria to try. Stubborn, however, we tried to stop by and try again. It went very well. Table for two on the first floor, next to the window overlooking the waterfall, FANTASTIC. Then the pizzas arrived. I couldn't believe it, in Isola de Liri a real Neapolitan pizza. Very good and light, cooked to perfection and with quality ingredients. Very satisfied. Thank goodness

Good Neapolitan pizza but as long as you stick to the classic Margherita all the other variations tried tend to be too dry for this reason the ingredients do not bind together. question of taste? Try and risk. Enchanting location.

Very nice place on different levels for the peculiarity of being right in front of the waterfall Good food Nice waiters but the wait to be served and to eat is really too long Two hours for two pizzas is a bit excessive 😅 Sky-high prices for drinks Too bad because the place has enormous potential but it gets lost on small things that could easily be improved (like a cafe that opens after 10:30 pm... so if you want a coffee at the end of dinner either wait for their bar to open or go and look for another 🤣🤣)

Really satisfying family pizza! For the first time I tried the oft-heard-of Don Anto' pizza. The pizza is in contemporary Neapolitan style, with well-leavened dough and a crust that is just the right amount of puffy. You can immediately notice the quality of the dough and the excellent leavening work, as well as the good flour. Quality toppings for all the pizzas chosen, definitely quality. The place is very well-kept, elegant and characteristic in every room, from the one on the ground floor to those on the upper floor with a splendid view of the village waterfall. The staff was helpful, a few more smiles would be nice from the girls ☺️ the owner at the entrance was kind and I exchanged a few words in sympathy! I will come back to visit you for other tastings! I recommend it

The pizza is really good, nothing to complain about, but there were a couple of things I didn't like: they put us in a small room and that's fine, but the waiters almost never came by, so if you wanted something you had to go look for them or wait a long time for them to show up, maybe more waiters would have been welcome. And then one thing that really doesn't sit well with me, it's fine to pay a lot for a good pizza, but €4 per litre of water (€3 0.75) and €9 for 1 litre of coke (€3 0.33) not even in Buckingham Palace!!!

Beautiful location, delicious food from fried food to pizza to desserts, kind and professional staff. Everything perfect.

La pizza è stata davvero ottima. Un po’ meno i fritti.. la location è molto particolare, perché è fatta a mo di casa, non mi è dispiaciuto essere distaccata da altre ‘sale’ con tante persone. Deve essere molto bello anche d’estate che ha lo spazio all’aperto e puoi gustare una pizza di fronte la fontana.

Pizza in famiglia veramente soddisfacente! Per la prima volta provo la più volte sentita nominare pizza di Don Anto’. La pizza è in stile napoletano contemporaneo, con impasto ben lievitato e cornicione gonfio il giusto. Si nota subito la qualità dell’ impasto e l’ottimo lavoro di lievitazione, oltre che la buona farina. Topping di qualità per tutte le pizze scelte, decisamente di qualità. Il locale è molto curato, elegante e caratteristico in ogni sala, da quella al piano terra a quelle al piano superiore con una splendida vista sulla cascata del paese. Il personale è stato disponibile, qualche sorriso in più sarebbe piacevole dalle ragazze ☺️ gentile il proprietario all’ingresso con cui ho scambiato due parole in simpatia! Tornerò a trovarvi per altri assaggi! Lo consiglio
