Ci tengo a fare una seconda recensione,ma questa volta in merito al Pan Borrello, dolce natalizio che chiamare panettone è riduttivo. Avrei voluto tenerlo per le feste, ma ho fatto l'errore di aprirlo per vederlo e nel giro di 15 minuti io e la mia famiglia lo abbiamo finito, tanto che non sono nemmeno riuscita a fare una foto al dolce. Davvero ottimo, equilibrato nei sapori di agrumi, morbido e delizioso.
Direi il miglior panettone mai mangiato. Consiglio assolutamente.
I have been to this magical place a few times already, a regular destination when I go on holiday to Calabria. It's really worth it. I only knew it as a pastry shop and the desserts, in addition to being scenically spectacular (go and see the Cetta cakes on the website) are all truly amazing... A special mention of the amaretti biscuits, which I have tried in many other places, but never so good , my mouth is watering even as I write this and the Sicilian cannoli... Amazing.
But this year has made a real leap in quality: in addition to having set up a fairytale setting in the surrounding streets where you can easily sit and let yourself slip into distant eras, I have tasted the vastness of savory products (exclusively made by them) that they accompany the aperitif: a real aperitif with all the trimmings. Enthusiastic about the location, the food, and also the owners and staff who are super helpful and attentive. If more stars could be given, I wouldn't skimp.
It was my first time going. I was there before midday to buy some mini pastries. And the typical Calabrian biscuits the Nacatole. I just ate the pastries with company and they are good, very good one after another, they are not sweet at all. I haven't tried the Nacatole yet but I'm sure that even the gold ones are very good. I will definitely be back for more pastries. This pastry shop is recommended to everyone. Good afternoon
