15/02/2025: My wife and I returned after 17 years and found the same family atmosphere as back then, the villa is enormous, well maintained, has lots of outdoor space, a modern restaurant but at the same time without ruining the historicity of the structure! The owners are kind and helpful, the staff are equally helpful, animals are accepted, in fact they have a very sweet dog that doesn't bother anyone! Maybe only for those who don't like animals! Still lovely though!

04/12/2024: I cannot express the gratitude that I have for the Tanzilli family. They truly are hosts of one of the most incredible spaces I have ever stayed in. Their hotel offers an impeccable central location in San Donato along with a time capsule into history by letting us stay in a historical wonder. The food is delicious, the staff are warm, and Mario is a gem. I cannot wait to visit again for festa!
