TODAY WE WENT TO THIS RESTAURANT AND WE ATE VERY WELL. COMPLIMENTS TO THE STAFF AND ESPECIALLY TO THE CHEF WHO WITH HIS SKILL PREPARED US SOME DELICIOUS DISHES WITH THE CATCH OF THE DAY. THANKS AGAIN FOR MAKING THIS DAY MEMORABLE.

Diego is always a guarantee! We've been there a while back, and even after years, they confirm the high quality of the dishes and the kindness of the staff. Honorable mention for the tuna genovese! Well done, well done, well done!

Masters of fresh fish. The raw fish is always excellent. The menu is short and the dishes are well-prepared. Some pairings overpower the fish flavor. The desserts are also excellent. The price is moderately high.

i had the best octopus ever in this place - very very tender and well seasoned, and the presentation of the dish was beautiful! the only issue is that the portions are way too small.

After surviving culinary war crimes at La Riviera di Parthenope (Chef Boyardee’s evil twin runs that kitchen) and the overcharging heist that was Pizzeria Augusteo (five-star pizza, two-star ethics), we finally found redemption at Diego’s.
From the moment we sat down, it was clear this was not another Naples food trap set to destroy our will to live. The fresh fish appetizer and calamari were so good I nearly teared up — actual flavor, texture, and seasoning all present in one dish. Revolutionary.
Then came the pasta. Mine had squid, clams, and raab broccolini — a combination so perfect it should be protected by UNESCO. My wife had the mixed pasta, which was so good she stopped scrolling Zillow for apartments in Rome “just to get away from Naples food.”
And the desserts? The tiramisu and chocolate tart were the kind of desserts that make you forget your childhood trauma and bad ravioli. The tiramisu was cloud-like perfection; the chocolate tart was rich enough to qualify for its own tax bracket.
In short: if you’ve made the mistake of eating elsewhere in Naples and are questioning your life choices, Diego’s is your salvation. Five stars. Would absolutely return — and next time, we’re bringing a priest to absolve our earlier dining sins.

What can I say... Diego is an experience, a passion, a heart. A small restaurant in the Chiara neighborhood, but full of soul and wonderful people. The quality of the ingredients is superb, divinely prepared by a young chef and expertly presented by the equally young staff. The wine selection is excellent. For the rest, let Mario recommend you; you won't regret it.
