D'FOOD In Lavello

I went to D-Food in Lavello and I have to say it was an incredible experience. I tried the Murtadell burgers and also the Mac N'sacc: truly 10/10. The meat and flavors were super balanced, everything was perfectly made, and the quality was evident at first bite. The fries were also really, really good: crispy, flavorful, and perfect with the burgers. I'm from Germany, and honestly, there are very few burger shops that can match this level. Everything was truly super, super, super delicious. I'll definitely be back—highly recommended!

The beef was succulent and cooked to perfection, the bun was fresh and toasted, capable of holding all the ingredients without falling apart. We also tried the pasta frittatas, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—AN EXPLOSION OF FLAVOR. Frittata Ranking: 1. 4 cheeses. 2. Briarelli and sausage. 3. Pulled pork and cheddar. 4. Carbonara. Service and Atmosphere: What makes the experience even more enjoyable is the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. They are always smiling, quick to serve, and ready to recommend the best option based on your tastes. In summary: "D'FOOD" is a must-try for those seeking authenticity and the highest-quality products. Hiiiiiii, this is the first review I've written for a "fast food" let's say, the first time I went there was on June 27, 2024 with my cousin and I tried L'ALTOMARE BABY and I have to tell the truth... IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! even if heavy... BUT DELICIOUS!!! Congratulations D'FOOD!!! Then... I really liked the service, the owners are very good especially the girl with me and also the speed in making the sandwiches, so congratulations for this D'FOOD too!!! Then the environment... I didn't like it very much, too small and it's not like MC DONALD'S where you can also go inside the restaurant, but above all it was uncomfortable to eat the sandwich, because there were no chairs to sit on (I know they were stolen) but get some new ones, right? 😅😅😅. I've known D'Food for a few years, I've tried various burgers during my travels both in Italy and abroad and I have to say it always remains in my top 3! I'm from Genoa and for me it's unthinkable not to eat here when I visit Basilicata. Honorable mention for the frittatine, the Coppolanderr burgers (to be accompanied by the wonderful peanut butter fries) and Lu bscott... they are seasonal but as far as I'm concerned they should be permanent on the menu! They are a mix of spectacular flavors, you would never expect this sweet and savory combination in a burger! Truly unique, never found anywhere! Two other burgers that I highly recommend, even if they are all delicious, are the legendary Donna Giolie and the Purtapullastr 3.0!! What can I say, at D'Food you can find incredible attention to detail, from the quality of the ingredients to the kindness towards the customers, as well as a lot of passion, all of which is transmitted in every bite! You will no longer be able to do without them 🥰

I've eaten burgers around the world, but the best I had was in Lavello (PZ)! And every time I go to Basilicata, I can't help but return! There's not much else to say except that every burger is an experience and a journey. Here you can find buns with ingredients you're not used to seeing in a burger, but trust them and try them. As a regular customer, I've tried their entire menu and they never fail! You won't regret it! Because behind every product they make is their passion, love, expertise, quality, attention to detail, and a lot of research, which comes through in every bite. I highly recommend pairing their burgers with the daily artisanal fried foods that vary based on availability, and their fries, which maintain a great consistency even when cold. The chicken and pulled pork nuggets are also excellent. And if you're traveling from a neighboring town, no problem! I've eaten their burgers even an hour after picking them up, and they're still perfectly firm and juicy. Otherwise, you can enjoy them standing on their fantastic outdoor terrace. It's not junk food, it's dream food! Trust me!

I drive 40 minutes just for their sandwiches, and that means everything to me. Price, quality, service, and staff are top-notch. Dfood is a sure thing.
