I stumbled upon Pasquale's by chance while looking for a little place to have breakfast. I couldn't have found a better place! If, like me, you're staying in Ostuni, near Piazza della Libertà or Corso Cavour, take advantage of this little pastry shop for a memorable breakfast. In winter, the outdoor tables aren't available, so expect to eat at the counter, or you can take a nice tray of delicacies to enjoy at home or at your accommodation. That's exactly what I did: captivated by the aromas and the baristas constantly emerging from the shop with trays full of sweets, I selected a few products, each one better than the last! I didn't get to take photos because we finished them all in a few minutes at home, but I recommend the pasticciotti with lemon cream, the zeppole with cream and black cherry, the puff pastry braids with honey and walnuts and apples, the bomboloni, both pistachio and chocolate, and the super fresh (and warm!) brioches filled to order. For those who love savory breakfasts, there are also rustici with various fillings, which I haven't tried, though. Fair prices for the extremely central location in a very touristy area. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent experience!
