You can never go wrong eating at Gerry's!! I spent New Year's Eve at his restaurant and everything was excellent: the welcoming staff, the atmosphere, the music, and not to mention the food. The tempura shrimp as an appetizer were the best, then the sweet sauce was the best, and then the Trapani-style trofiette with those toasted almonds were even better! The owner was very kind in welcoming us and treated us really well; you don't see a place like this every day. A restaurant I would recommend to everyone.

We spent New Year's Eve dinner at this restaurant in Voltri. It was a lovely evening with good company and music. The food was excellent and plentiful. The kids loved the trofiette with pesto. The owner was kind and very approachable, even offering us two rounds of amari! Highly recommended!

New Year's Eve 2025/26 A very pleasant evening, good food, and very friendly service despite the crowd. We had a great table, everyone satisfied with everything. As far as I'm concerned, it was a truly wonderful New Year's Eve. I thank all the staff, especially the owner, always smiling and very kind. We'll see you again soon.

Last night was pizza night at Gerry's. The place was packed, which is a good thing because it means people love going there. We had a blast; the pizzas were amazing. I saw the fastest pizza chef in existence; he churned out pizzas at supersonic speed, but they were all perfect. I have a wood-fired oven at home. I asked for some advice, and he kindly and patiently gave me some valuable suggestions. The dough was light and delicious, and the toppings on the pizzas were generous. I also had a homemade chocolate tart, and that was also delicious. The staff was incredibly kind, and Gerry himself was always available and friendly. The price was very fair. I can't recommend it enough.

Don't let the exterior put you off. The interior is a thinly soundproofed room. The staff is completely authentic, and the locals eat here after work or on their regular days, which is always a great sign. The food was truly delicious, and the price was more than fair. This would always be my first stop in Genoa from now on.
