I'd like to start by saying that I've always been a loyal customer of this pizzeria, where over the years I've found the highest quality: attention to ingredients, excellent dough, attention to detail... in short, a truly special pizza.
For this very reason, I'm sorry to have to report a negative experience. This is the second time I've ordered a family-size pan, and unfortunately, the quality wasn't what I remembered.
Last night, I ordered a mixed pan, specifically requesting minimal tomato on part of the Margherita due to an intolerance, but my request wasn't honored.
Furthermore, the flavor of the mozzarella (assuming it was actually mozzarella) wasn't pleasant and seemed more like stringy cheese. I'm sorry to write this, because I've always appreciated Alessio's work, his passion, and the quality that set him apart. But at least when it comes to the family-size pan, something has changed, and I truly hope we can get back to the same level we once were.
