I discovered this restaurant when it first opened with a fantastic dinner. Now they also serve tapas with a selection of wines and cocktails. It's very basic, but the creativity and freshness of the individual dishes are worth it.
A special mention goes to the creamed cod and the fish salami (unique).
The prices are commendable for the quality served.

We wanted to give Contrasti a second chance. We were there last summer and left without the wow factor.
We found an interesting menu.
We dwelt in more detail on their appetizers.
The perfectly prepared bao pescato was very interesting, although the highlight was the panzanella with creamed cod.
It's a shame that the menu included gratinated razor clams, but alas, they ran out and were replaced with gratinated mussels. They were well done, but we lacked the final zest.
The wine list is very interesting; we recommend expanding the selection of foreign wines.
The wait staff was attentive and friendly, accommodating our requests.

All the dishes are delicious. You can immediately tell they've carefully selected the ingredients and carefully crafted pairings. The appetizers are excellent (the panzanella and squid are top-notch), and then the lightly seared tuna: simply delicious. In my opinion, it's among the best restaurants in Italy. Bravo, bravo!

An unexpected discovery in the village of Mola, Formia. The menu features modern dishes that further emphasize the authentic flavor of the fish. I wasn't expecting such refined and balanced cuisine. Both chefs are very young but talented. Keep up the good work!

A corner of sober elegance, right on the old fishing port, next to the little square overlooked by the Mola tower. Lined with fresh plants, very well-kept furnishings and spaces. You are welcomed by lights, smiles and a fridge that contains treasures of the sea: bottarga and precious fish. We trusted the chef and we did not regret it: wise and light dishes, so quickly consumed (not because of the small quantities, quite the opposite! Because of the supreme goodness) that I almost do not remember them. S. Jaque raw fish, prawn cocktails, delicate and light cod fritters, gratinated razor clams...cuttlefish stuffed with vegetables! Then linguine with French butter and classic bottarga. The dessert was shared among everyone because it was impossible not to be already full. Homemade puff pastry and melting cream, candied mandarins. Wide selection of wines and unforgettable bread with semi-wholemeal sourdough
