Castello Monaci In Salice salentino

A very beautiful and characteristic historic location—a castle, in short—located in a rural and remote area, not easy to reach via winding, unlit provincial roads. It's in the Salice Salentino countryside, bordering the province of Brindisi, surrounded by vast, diversely cultivated rural land. I was there only because I was invited to a wedding reception with about 200 guests. Unfortunately, the venue suffers from the unique infrastructure of a castle, so the large number of guests didn't allow for optimal management, in my opinion, and I wasn't satisfied. The central space for dancing was also insufficient. The food served was excellent, as was the overall service provided by the staff. Aside from the initial buffet of meat and seafood appetizers, I didn't appreciate the fact that for the final buffet of fruit, desserts, and cake, the guests had to leave their tables at 9 pm, grab their coats, and stay outside in the garden to catch the cold for the cake cutting, before moving on to other areas. This was my only experience at this venue.

Speechless, the energy this place exudes is magical, enchanting, and meticulously cared for down to the smallest details. The welcome makes you feel special, and the cuisine is gastronomically satisfying. I hope to return. The driveway leading to the castle alone is breathtaking, with hectares of vineyards.

A dream location! Castello Monaci is a historic 16th-century residence that owes its name to an ancient settlement of Brazilian monks. Surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old olive trees. Ample parking. Vast interior rooms with antique and precious furnishings. You're immersed in history. Excellent food, attentive but unobtrusive staff, helpful and professional.

The interior rooms are refined, the outdoor grounds are meticulously maintained, and the perfect setting for unforgettable weddings. The staff is highly professional, always available, and attentive to every detail. The cuisine is top-notch: refined dishes, local ingredients, and meticulous presentation. Each course was a true culinary experience. A strong point is undoubtedly the organization: nothing is left to chance, everything is coordinated with precision and kindness, making guests feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish. I highly recommend Castello Monaci to anyone looking for a dream location in Puglia.
