A lovely find for a Sunday lunch with family or friends. Countryside, traditional aromas from the open fire grill and various dishes, authentic, unpretentious but sincere. Well-made homemade dishes, excellent ingredients (top-notch sausages and cheeses), and friendly, helpful staff.
I've been back several times, even though it's a bit out of the way for me, but it's worth it.

We rolled out of the table!
I ate with three other friends: we made a reservation on the spur of the moment, and miraculously, they found us a table. The restaurant was packed... and I totally understand why!
We started with a mixed antipasto (cold cuts, cheeses with honey, and gratinated vegetables) and also ordered the coratella: FABULOUS! Not everyone knows how to make it this good.
Then we each had a first course. I chose the castagnette with porcini mushrooms: I was really hesitant because all the first courses looked so inviting. At first, I was a little disappointed because I thought they were gnocchi, but they were actually similar to fettuccine... but AMAZING!
We continued with the meat, which unfortunately we couldn't finish because we were already stuffed.
VERY LARGE PORTIONS, a rarity these days.
I'll definitely be back!

As always, a sure thing! Excellent polenta!! Amazing cheeses and ricotta...the great thing is that you can buy them outside and take them home. We always love coming back.

Delicious authentic Roman food in a rustic and traditional restaurant not far from Rome. They make excellent pasta and their appetizers are also to not miss. Worth the trip!

The food is truly excellent, though perhaps the starters could be more generous. The glasses of wine were top-notch. Parking is available.
