Excellent products, delicious sfogliatella and babà. I sat at the table with my family, and Francesco served us. He's a very kind waiter and very willing to give advice on how to best visit the city. The only downside is the somewhat long wait due to the lack of staff.

A renowned pastry shop in Naples with several locations, including at the city's Central Station. Scaturchio's specialties are sfogliatelle and babà, but the shop offers a wide range of products, from limoncello to rum to coffee. Anyone who truly loves Naples and its wonderful traditions must stop by Scaturchio to enjoy the unforgettable recipes of this great Neapolitan pastry shop.

Delicious pastries, but apparently nowhere to eat inside and no tables available outside either.

The sfogliatella is truly the best I've ever eaten: well-balanced, with a buttery pastry and just the right amount of filling. Even the giant lobster rolls are really good, with their homemade creams. The cappuccinos are decent. I'm not giving it five stars because of the exorbitant prices with table service: €3 for a whole-wheat croissant is really high, as is a cappuccino for €3.50... we went back to get the sfogliatella to go, but we definitely won't be going back for breakfast again.

A must-visit pastry shop where you can enjoy a coffee and devour a baba or a sfogliatella. The canolo is also worth a visit. The other pastries are tempting, but the creams are too sweet (the aragosta).
The prices on the terrace are nothing to be intimidated by; it's a little haven of peace and quiet amidst the chaos of Naples...

In a thousand-year-old historical context, letting yourself be lulled by the countless delights of Scaturchio is one of the experiences to try because Naples is also this

I wanted to check the reviews to make sure my experience wasn't just a fluke. And indeed... I'll start with the positives: the two lobster tails (chocolate and Chantilly) were average, though lacking in filling (the bottom was completely empty, I think, given what happened, more due to the staff's lazy inattention than a cost-effective approach). The mini-pastiera, on the other hand, was expensive (€5) and nothing special, not at all flavored with orange blossom water as it should be, and the pastry was soft, rather than crispy.
Back to the staff: awful. Rude and arrogant: I had to put the sales assistant back in her place when she was annoyed when I asked about the cream, simply because she hadn't listened and didn't understand what I was asking. And she even allowed herself to be the annoyed one! A bad day happens to everyone, even if those who work with the public can't afford it. But apparently these "bad days" are a constant, and so a slap on the wrist from the owner to the staff who are causing customers to be lost is just what the doctor ordered!!!

The traditional Neapolitan pastries were tasty and well prepared. The cakes and ice creams were delicious. We appreciate the staff for providing good service and being attentive to us while we enjoyed eating here.

Disfrutamos de algunos pasteles y pasteles tradicionales napolitanos. El café era sabroso y refrescantemente bueno. Apreciamos al personal por su eficiente servicio y por su hospitalidad.
