The sfogliatelle, in my opinion, are the best in Naples. It's worth the short wait to get in.

The cappuccino was good, but the desserts weren't my cup of tea. The bathrooms weren't clean in the morning! A disappointment for me!

Unfortunately, the actual quality doesn't live up to its reputation. I certainly didn't have a bad meal at #scaturchio, but I had much higher expectations. I had both the curly and shortcrust #sfogliatella, as well as a small ministerial (Scaturchio's trademark) and another coffee dessert whose name I don't remember. Both sfogliatelle were good, the shortcrust pastry was better than the curly one, the latter wasn't very crunchy, and I have to say it looked like any other sfogliatella you'd find in a regular bar, and that was the sore point. It was good but fairly anonymous, and I was definitely expecting something else. The filling was well-made but ultimately forgettable. The ministerial wasn't bad, but I don't understand the point of all this hype; you can live without it. The other dessert was good, but I'd try something else. Too bad... I'd conclude with "we can do better..." but I think it makes little sense for them to focus on quality given the numbers they're doing, and it seems more and more like they're attracting tourists, given that they've now started making maritozzo too, and I don't think that makes sense for a place like this; it shouldn't need it, but they're obviously making good money. Good prices, in the end, for what it represents. I was a little disappointed, but that's also the beauty of it.

You absolutely have to try the mushroom-shaped pastry and the coffee! It’s a great spot for a delicious start to the day or a break while strolling through the streets of Naples. Yummy!

Delicious! The "sfogliata riccia" are to die for, as is the feta di caprese a limone. However, the pastry shop is difficult to access; you'll have to brave the narrow streets of Naples and the speeding scooters. The products are of the highest quality, and the pastries and sfogliatella are truly delicious. It's a shame that all the staff were rude, especially the waiter serving tables outside.
