A truly evocative place on the shores of this beautiful lake. Remember to book the food is really good!!! Try the lamb with potatoes and fettuccine with wild boar…. The appetizer is fantastic accompanied by a glass of excellent Cesanese, it will make your palate happy :) you spend the right amount, you can find parking and the service is really courteous and fast, I highly recommend it!!!

Long live artisan brioches for breakfast with a lake view! Lunch was also excellent. Kind and attentive staff.

Far be it from me to assert that the food is bad, on the contrary, home-made and tasty cuisine, simple and at the same time satisfying, I think they have chestnut tagliatelle, now I don't remember seeing the menu, unfortunately it was raining and therefore cool, I was out but I didn't want to miss the healthy air of the surrounding mountains, the waiter promptly closed the bulkheads and it was much better. Fresh buffalo caprese, the dishes are in the photos, I would have added fewer salt crystals for the sliced ​​chicken, the setting is beautiful because it faces the lake, the waiters are always attentive and are customers to monitor therefore excellent service. I give a 3 because to judge the food once it's definitely not enough to go there unless you happen to have an unpleasant situation but that wasn't the case, just because of the rain. Worth visiting again, as it was Saturday and cloudy there weren't many people. Small car park outside the structure accommodates about ten cars otherwise on the road otherwise there is another large car park not far away on foot. For everything I ate, the expense wasn't excessive so I would also say good value for money. Spent 40 plus water obviously.Thanks. 22 November 2024 here again the soup with truffled chickpeas delicate and tasty the fettuccine again with chestnut flour are special the fast service there weren't many people the quality/price ratio was very good, only the dessert didn't convince me much but in context if you go to lake canterno it is definitely worth trying as a restaurant...few non-noisy places surrounded by nature and on the banks of the lake...a nice place to relax. Well done again. In one of the photos there are all the references if you have difficulty contacting them to book or otherwise.

I have known the place for several years, they have always welcomed our requests. The quality of the food is excellent, the staff helpful and friendly and the environment is also warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Giorgia for her availability, today we had Christmas lunch and we left satisfied. Highly recommended, for me they are 10 and praise.

Today, first experience with American family and relatives. 11 people for lunch in this beautiful "term, qualifying for me" trattoria on the shores of Lake Canterno, very close to Fiuggi. The impact was immediately more than positive; intimate atmosphere (the place is not large), with tables overlooking the lake, well looked after, with the famous ceiling with wooden beams, traditional rustic wooden furniture; all very sober and free of stylistic exasperation. They also have a fair amount of tables in outdoor spaces and under porches, all near the shores of the lake. Lots of greenery, well kept, clean, and therefore children would appreciate it very much. Truly bucolic environment, of those of the past. All those hills around with the towns of Trivigliano, Torre Caetani, Fiuggi at the top. In short, you feel comfortable, like at home. Such a positive environmental situation also corresponds to an equally positive evaluation of food. Forget the new cuisine; here you die like heroes, thanks to dishes with generous portions of fresh pasta with mushrooms, truffles, wild boar sauce, and more, more, more...!! You would eat it all in a sort of "La Grande Bouffe". But age forces us to limit ourselves. Classic Ciociaria appetizers with cheeses, ricotta, hams etc. etc..etc.... Delicious meat, very tender and in short; my mother and mother-in-law couldn't have done better. Downsides? No, honestly I haven't found any. I give 4 stars, only because for me 5 stars are perfection, with the added bonus of that magical touch worthy of great chefs, who always manage to add a particular flavour, that icing that makes the difference. Here we are at 4 stars, (sorry if it's not enough), and I assure you that I don't give them easily; I don't let anything or anyone influence me. It's only the food that makes me decide, and also the behavior and kindness of the staff; and in this too there is nothing to complain about. Then, lastly, the pleasant surprise; 11 people, €350.00 euros. If you remove €50 of wine, you will understand that the picture is completed with a beautiful frame. I'll be back I'll be back I'll be back...!! P.S. in my opinion, a little place like this will certainly be packed on Saturday and Sunday. I would avoid; then the choice is yours..!! The Ciociaro side dish Lake cycle/pedestrian path

Il punto di forza di questo ristorante è la "location": in riva al lago di Canterno, lungo il sentiero/pista ciclabile, ambiente naturale ben tenuto e ideale per una giornata all'aria aperta anche con bambini (all'esterno del ristorante si trova un ampio parco giochi). L'interno non è molto grande, ma vi sono ampi spazi esterni, adeguatamente protetti. La sala e i servizi igienici sono molto puliti. I tavoli sono ben apparecchiati. L'accoglienza e il servizio sono soddisfacenti. I cibi sono ben preparati, con impronta tradizionale e piccole, gradevoli variazioni. Le porzioni sono di media quantità. Buono il rapporto qualità / prezzo: un pasto completo costa circa € 50.

Posto consigliatissimo! Il locale è piccolino ma molto carino. La ragazza all'accoglienza che ci ha servito è stata gentilissima e molto carina. Il cibo buonissimo e fresco! Passeggiatina al lago, pranzo in questo locale e la giornata passa in completo relax!
