Far be it from me to say the food is bad; on the contrary, the home-made, tasty cuisine is simple yet satisfying. I think they had chestnut tagliatelle, but I don't remember seeing the menu now. Unfortunately, it was raining and so it was cool. I was outside, but I didn't want to miss out on the healthy air of the surrounding mountains. The waiter promptly closed some shutters, and it was much better. The fresh buffalo mozzarella caprese is pictured; I would have used fewer salt crystals for the chicken tagliata. The setting is beautiful because it overlooks the lake. The waiters are always attentive and monitor customers, so the service is excellent. I'm giving it a 3 because to judge the food, going once isn't enough, unless you accidentally have an unpleasant situation, but that wasn't the case, just because of the rain. I'd definitely return; it was Saturday and cloudy, so there weren't many people. A small parking lot outside the restaurant holds about ten cars, otherwise it's on the street, or there's another large parking lot within walking distance. For everything we ate, the price wasn't excessive, so I'd say it was good value. I spent €40 plus water, of course. Thank you. November 22, 2024. The truffle chickpea soup was delicate and tasty. The fettuccine, again with chestnut flour, was special. The service was quick, there weren't many people. The value for money was very good. Only the dessert didn't really convince me, but given the context, if you go to Lake Canterno, it's definitely a restaurant worth trying. There are a few quiet places, surrounded by nature and on the lakeshore. A nice place to relax. Excellent! I stumbled upon it by chance after a visit to Lake Canterno, and I must say it's a very quiet and relaxing place, overlooking the lake and offering a beautiful view. The cuisine is excellent, featuring traditional dishes like provola and eggplant panzerotti and rabbit casserole. The only downside is that when it's crowded, service can be a bit slow, but it's still recommended.

Relaxing lakeside atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Very good food. There's a large play area and barbecue facilities. Perhaps one thing that could be improved would be the bathroom; there's only one inside for everyone.

We were there on a beautiful afternoon at the end of May. Even though it was crowded, the friendly staff after a short wait prepared a table for us outside, facing the lake and, after placing the order, the dishes arrived on time and were very good. Perfect service from start to finish. More than enough parking spaces outside, a children's park next door and the possibility of going out to the lakeside directly from the restaurant. A great experience, thank you.
