A simply unforgettable experience. Every dish I tasted at Carusu was a discovery, meticulously crafted and crafted with a precision that leaves mesmerized. The cuisine successfully combines technique, flavor, and identity: dishes that are never banal, but always with that extra ingredient or touch—as in the case of the duck or the spaghetti—that elevates them and makes them memorable.
The service is of a rare elegance: attentive, discreet, impeccable. The highly knowledgeable sommelier created the perfect wine pairing for our tasting menu, calibrated down to every nuance, without a single flaw.
Chef Alen Mangione is an authentic and passionate presence: he personally came to the table to greet us and serve us our small pastries, a gesture that speaks to the soul of a cuisine built on dedication and respect for the guest.
It's clear that behind all this is a close-knit and professional team, because there was not the slightest imperfection, from start to finish.
An experience not to be had once in a lifetime, but many times: the menu follows seasonality, and every return promises something new to discover.

We had dinner with family, and the entire staff was there for us, explaining the origins of the products and their use in the plating.
The chef greeted us at the start of the dinner, and I think this was a thoughtful touch, unlike any other.
Unique dishes.

Caruso's was an extremely interesting gastronomic experience, certainly representing an innovative model within the city's restaurant scene. We dined on an engaging exploratory journey, thanks in part to the staff who, with skill and passion, demonstrated the connections between local tradition and the chef's creative, personal touch for each course. The dishes were presented with simplicity and refinement, and the authenticity of the ingredients used was combined with original and delicious interpretations. The quality/price ratio was appropriate for the type of restaurant and the culinary offerings.
