Returning hungry from a trip, at the suggestion of our taxi driver at 11:45 PM, we headed to Carminiello for a quick pizza. They were incredibly kind even though the evening was over and the staff were getting ready to clean. The pizza was delicious; as vegans, we had a spectacular marinara with vegetables. Thank you for your welcome; kindness is never a given!

Well, what can I say? The place has been the same for 100 years. Nothing has changed. The prices are very low. The quality is high. The service is a bit slow. There's no cover charge. Yes, people only go here for good pizza, beer, and fried food.

A wonderful neighborhood pizzeria with incredibly good pizza. Authentic Neapolitan pizza, handmade and baked in a traditional oven. The staff deserves a 10/10 for their excellent recommendations. Definitely worth trying!

07/01/2026: I visited Sorrento yesterday for lunch: We ordered gnocco alla sorrentina and tagliolini al nero with zucchini flowers and shrimp. The quality of the product was excellent; both dishes were made with fresh pasta. The atmosphere was very elegant and clean, and the service was prompt and precise. Highly recommended.
