Pizzaria Carminiello honestly is the best pizzaria in Naples. It's a little family owned business that has been there for 100 years now. The staff were the most friendly and helpful people we met in Naples, they helped us out when our accommodation plans didn't work out. I think we ended up visiting them and getting food there almost every day we were on holiday! I can definitely recommend getting the fried aubergine and fried dough balls as an appetiser. The neapolitan and folded pizzas are delicious too. If I could, I'd fly back to Naples just to go back to Carminiello's when I'm craving their food!

È una pizzeria eccezionale. Ti sembra di fare un tuffo nel passato. Tutto immutato. Prodotti genuini e di qualità. Non è una trappola per turisti ma un'autentica antica pizzeria. La pizza si mangia su tavoli di marmo. I fritti sono di una bontà unica. Un posto dove mangi frittura, pizza e bibita a 9€. Insomma non può che essere una tappa obbligata per napoletani e visitatori.

02/02/2025: excellent pizza, dough made to perfection with a mixture of highly digestible flours. the starters are good, even if they are the classics ritual. young and kind staff, small room, impractical on Saturday evenings. The waiting at the tables for orders needs to be improved due to the busy bakery for takeaway and delivery. the external solution is good with a closed veranda for additional available space.
07/01/2025: Delicious pizza, light and well cooked. Super nice and friendly staff. Fair prices and ample parking.
