Our stay was simply impeccable. The property stands out for its elegance, attention to detail, and welcoming atmosphere. A heartfelt thank you to Alessia at the front desk for her courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism, and to Mimma and Grazia, the housekeeping ladies, for their excellent daily work and the care they take to maintain the perfect environment. The breakfast service was nothing short of exceptional: a wide variety of sweet and savory options, all fresh and of excellent quality, capable of satisfying every taste. A truly pleasant experience, one I highly recommend and will definitely repeat.

Wonderful place, beautiful scenery, food was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly. Only negative was it's not near a lot of action and the train station is quite a hike. Otherwise wonderful.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE... HOSPITALITY AND SENSITIVITY COMPLETELY ABSENT!!! Our experience with the Capovaticano Resort Thalasso SPA was extremely disappointing. We asked to move our reservation just two days after making it due to our son's sudden health issue, but the facility demonstrated complete inflexibility and a complete lack of understanding. Despite the obvious and justified situation, they withheld the full amount of our half-board stay, offering us only a voucher to use at a later date, subjecting us to a penalty of over €300, as if our difficulty were irrelevant. A gesture of flexibility would have been the bare minimum for a facility that calls itself luxury. Please note that this was a gift from some of our friends, a thought expressed with great affection. Precisely for this reason, the total lack of understanding and empathy on the part of the property, which was perfectly aware that it was a gift package they had created for special occasions, is even more disappointing and, in our opinion, completely inexcusable. This behavior, in addition to disappointing us, also embarrassed the people who had enthusiastically given us this gift. This experience has completely undermined our trust in the property. We will never return and we do not recommend it to anyone: hospitality, respect, and sensitivity toward guests seem completely absent. Update as of October 15, 2025 We were contacted by the property and they reissued the voucher from the beginning, which we accepted, reassessing our feedback at this point.

We stayed 4 days in this wonderful property. A true oasis of peace and tranquility, refined, elegant, and immaculately clean, with attention to every detail. Everything is designed to ensure guests feel pampered and can peacefully enjoy their stay. Our room, with a balcony and a splendid sea view, was very large and clean, with a large, comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and had a large shower and everything we needed. The restaurants, both on the beach and inside the property, offer delicious dishes made with top-quality ingredients. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of both sweet and savory options, including freshly prepared pastries. The beach is private, with umbrellas and loungers. The outdoor pool is very pleasant, but we didn't use it, preferring to swim in the crystal-clear sea. From the beach, you can admire stunning sunsets with Stromboli in the background. Even though it was mid-October, the air and water temperatures were wonderful. A car is essential if you want to visit the surrounding area, including beautiful Tropea. The hotel has private parking. There are certainly small flaws and things to improve, but I can't name any at the moment. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to all the staff: reception, restaurant, bar, beach, and housekeeping. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Thank you. Our stay was delightful, relaxing, and restful. We will definitely be back.

The lobby initially makes a very nice impression, but unfortunately, that's all it takes. Many areas are missing plaster and paint, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. You have to make a reservation for almost everything – more reminiscent of COVID times than a relaxing vacation. The food in the restaurant is good, but relatively expensive. Furthermore, you're practically forced to tip, as payments without a tip option aren't authorized – which doesn't seem very hospitable. I also found the unequal treatment at breakfast unpleasant: guests who dine at the hotel are given significant priority the next morning over those who only book breakfast. Nice lobby, but overall, too many flaws and not good value for money. Not recommended.
