The Soncini family exalts the traditional cuisine of the Po Delta in this magical place.
Lovers of exquisite eels (unique in the world) and seafood in general, but not only...This is THE PLACE.
An old-fashioned trattoria with a slightly retro atmosphere, attentive and competent service, and simply FABULOUS cuisine.
Worth the trip.

We went yesterday to celebrate my birthday and had very high expectations based on the reviews we'd read.
In reality, we were disappointed.
The food was average but not excellent... the eel was too dry and the portion was very small.
Unfortunately, the fried fish was seasoned with too much salt, so my companion gave up the main course because his mouth was on fire.
The raw fish was good, but the quality and quantity of the fish were absolutely not worth the €38 price tag. I always eat raw fish at restaurants and have tried more varied (more fish varieties) and delicious ones at a more reasonable and reasonable price.
The wine was excellent.
The service... the staff were kind and helpful, but there was a long wait between courses... furthermore, from a Michelin-starred restaurant, you'd expect the staff to pay more attention to the tables without having to make eye contact if you need it.
One last flaw... when it came to the bill, we weren't asked for feedback.
The atmosphere is 1960s/70s style, but we found it very clean.

It's a worthwhile experience. Lately, I've been ordering the fried sea bass all the time, usually a kilo or 1.2 kilos. It's spectacular! Highly recommended for at least two people. We go to this restaurant once or twice a year so everyone can enjoy a truly different kind of seafood. Yesterday, we had spectacular spaghetti and three off-menu fried dishes: deep-sea shrimp, blue crab, and fried small soaso. All excellent. Price per person: €77. Well invested!

Only one flaw...unfortunately, the restaurant is far from where we live, which precludes more frequent visits. We greatly appreciated the cuisine, where excellent ingredients are enhanced by expert hands: culture and tradition blend to showcase local products with respect and skill, without being overdone! Before going, I read some criticisms about the decor...I found it not only charming, but perfectly in keeping with the restaurant's identity, where history and culture blend together to offer an atmosphere that exudes memories, warmth, and hospitality. The service is excellent.
