It's always nice to go up and find the guys who run the refuge... congratulations from the Befana...

If you're not too energetic, but still love the mountains, just a stone's throw from Erve you'll find the "Capanna." Immersed in the silence and at the foot of his majesty Resegone. I recommend the dinner-and-overnight package. An aperitif and a pizza by the lake would cost the same, but the experience wouldn't be as satisfying. And what about the food? Try it and believe it.

If you like the mountains you can't help but appreciate it

I celebrated my 30th birthday with some friends at the refuge. We all had a great time: the food was traditional and authentic, and the people were friendly and welcoming. They left us free to celebrate and have fun. The refuge has a stunning view of Lecco and is conveniently located, just a short walk from the cable car station. Well done, keep up the good work!! Beautiful experience, fantastic refuge that I recommend to everyone!

A truly positive experience; we ate and slept at the refuge. I'm vegan, and after letting them know in advance, they worked hard to find a suitable dinner for me. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind. The refuge is very welcoming, except for the showers, which aren't very functional, but for one night, you can live with that. Being in the middle of nowhere with a splendid view and rock music in the background is priceless!

I spent a night at the Capanna during a two-day trek and can't wait to return. Marco, Isabella, and the other people who recently took over the refuge are fantastic. The hospitality was perfect, the food AMAZING. Marco is a culinary perfectionist and personally selects his meat from local farms. The goulash was heartwarming, the polenta cooked in a copper pot had a perfect crispy crust, and the pizzoccheri were simply the best I've ever eaten. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and welcoming. I miss it already.
