Renovated restaurant in the historic center of town. Excellent service, friendly staff, and attentive to customer needs. Homemade, refined cuisine that's never predictable, using quality ingredients. The chef and her son are exceptional, always a testament to their quality. Excellent value. Reservations are recommended beforehand, as they're always busy.

A typical Roman restaurant located in the heart of the historic village of Monte Porzio Catone. Quality ingredients, authentic food. The open kitchen is a guarantee of safety and cleanliness. The grilled meats are excellent. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms is delicious. Very fast service. Welcoming staff. We paid €60 for two.

For a place in one of Rome's best areas, it's not at all "touristy." On the contrary, the food is excellent, and the options are anything but predictable. Excellent.

Typical castle location and interesting, really good bread. A delicious carbonara. Always good.

EDIT: After 5 years, I stand by my review. A must-visit. We often hear about Roman trattorias, rightly anchored in the past but with overly "rustic" staff, but at Romoletto I found something different. The cuisine balances traditional fare with modern touches, making every meal interesting and delicious. The staff's professionalism blends seamlessly and elegantly with the classic "Roman family" atmosphere. It's no coincidence that the restaurant is beloved by both locals and out-of-towners, some of whom are quite high-profile, but who still choose this small, village restaurant for their meals. If you want to dine on the traditional flavors of the Castelli Romani, Romoletto is a surefire choice. A regular stop every time I return. Having said all this, I give it 5 stars because it's a restaurant that perfectly hits its target. It does a splendid job.

A traditional restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Frascati dishes.

The food is excellent. I went after years of being recommended it specifically for the quality of the mushrooms, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. The portions were a bit small, it must be said, but the mezzelune stuffed with porchetta I tried were world-class. It's a trattoria, so don't expect a Michelin-starred restaurant. The waiters are friendly and approachable, a little slow when the place is busy, but the wait is worth it. The atmosphere is classic, like that of a trattoria in the castles that has passed down tradition from father to son, so you feel right at home. The tiramisu is a must-try.
