We had dinner yesterday with a friend of mine who has been coming to this restaurant for 20 years. I have to say it was a very pleasant evening. The cuisine is simple and homemade as if it were at home, the ingredients are genuine and the dishes are well cooked. We had the house starter with cold cuts, tripe and chickpeas and some tomato bruschetta, my friend a mixed grill which he told me was good and I had a trio of homemade first courses (meat agnolotti, tomato gnocchi and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms). Everything as good as a grandmother would make it. The 2018 Rosso di Montefalco wine was excellent. Since we were the last customers left, at another table one of the owners Paolo celebrated his birthday with a cake from a local pastry shop and some prosecco, and very kindly invited us to join them. This warmed my heart and made me feel truly at home. They are exquisite people! I will definitely come back

We chose to sit outdoors . It was October … great communication and easy to order . The food as always , better than American Italian that I grew up with in NY. Fresh , Filling and healthy . I would recommend to anyone .
