I have known this restaurant for 25 years. Sunday lunch out of town. I still remember Mrs. Mary's kindness. Highly recommended

Best restaurant in the Castelli ever. Every time I return to Italy, Romoletto is a fixed stop. Food and wine of the highest quality, perfect service and friendliness of the owners.

Una garanzia. Qualità del cibo e preparazione sempre una certezza. Loro sono affabili e preparati. Lo frequento da 5 lustri e non hanno mai avuto cadute. Per questo li definisco una garanzia. Se si cerca una cucina semplice e autentica, con i piatti tipici e carne alla griglia di qualità allora romoletto è il posto giusto!!!

Small place, with an open kitchen and a visible grill... it could potentially be nice, shame about the mess and lack of hygiene. I can't say anything about the food, it was good, prices were normal.

Just one comment: “Wow! Typical Roman cuisine with top marks. Every time I go to Rome and sometimes even when I leave I purposely stop in Monteporzio to go to Romoletto.

30/05/2024: It's kind of what you come to Italy for. It's located in an area that looks like you might get murdered but the food is absolutely great. It's a simple place, nothing super fancy or chic but the food is what you go for, classic Roman dishes done well at a reasonable price with good service, 100% better than the crap most people are eating up the road at the holiday park and paying more for. If you are staying at the park, venture out, and try the place. Also extremely good with gluten free and certified by the Italian coeliac society.
04/05/2024: In een buitenwijkje vind je dit voortreffelijke typisch Romeinse restaurant. Geen pizza, maar de echte authentieke Romeinse keuken. Echte aanrader, tegen mooie prijzen!

02/02/2025: It is one of the best pizzerias in Rome. It costs but you pay for quality and that's right. The service then goes against the norm, that is, they are friendly and kind. Good thing I have it close to home. I finished :)
28/01/2025: One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, excellent quality ingredients and cooked in a wood oven. The trapizzini were also superb. Courteous and punctual service.
