03/01/2026: We frequented this place on two different occasions, both at dusk during the Christmas season, so it was difficult to get lost, so gaudy were the decorations and lights that adorned the interior and exterior, shining like stars on a winter night. The fauna that gathers there is quite unique, but we were nevertheless heartened by Mr. Cannavaro's presence, even though this fact is of little relevance to the banquet.
The place offers a broad and generous menu, including dishes for those who avoid meat and those following a vegan diet. Every dish we sampled was very good, and the atmosphere was warm and pleasant, enlivened by the beneficial warmth of the stoves, which did a good job of combating the harsh winter.
The only comment I feel like making is about the avocado sandwich, in which the provolone del Monaco weighs down a bit; Which is why, on this second visit, I ordered it without the cheese.
All in all, a praiseworthy experience, worthy of being recounted like one would a good inn along the way.
19/12/2025: A few nights ago, I had the pleasure of dining at El Sombrero restaurant with dear Neapolitan friends, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. They were the ones who introduced me to this place, and they couldn't have made a better choice.
The atmosphere is welcoming and lively, with an exotic touch that instantly transports you to Mexico. The staff was friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to recommend the best dishes.
We sampled several house specialties, and every course was a discovery: authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. From the crispy nachos to the steaming fajitas, everything was truly delicious. The cocktails also deserve a special mention: well-prepared and perfect to accompany dinner.
An ideal place for an evening with friends, where you can eat well and enjoy a festive atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!
