I don't understand why it's rated so low! Absolutely authentic, we used to have breakfast here every day, the best croissants in Naples with the best coffee. The waiters are very friendly. This is Naples, absolutely authentic.

I bought two pastries on display in the shop window this morning: a "cone" of curly puff pastry with Chantilly cream and strawberries that was good and a shortcrust pastry sfogliatella that I wasn't thrilled with (no candied fruit and not very tasty).

I went in without even checking the ratings because I was trying to avoid the rain, but this was the most unfriendly Italian I've ever met. The coffee also looks different than in the photo.
