FAIRLY DECENT PODS, LACK OF CARE WITH SHIPPING... I purchased three types of pods online: Gold Arabica (Good - Expiration date: September 27), Ethiopian Sidamo (Fairly Good - Expiration date: October 27), and Brazilian Santos San Rafael (Poor - Expiration date: July 26, a few months old, so not fresh). All are medium roasted, so they don't taste burnt, but the problem with the two specialty pods is probably the grinding. The dispensing is too fast (especially the Brazilian pod). Finally, the packaging is a weak point for many roasters, who think that a film holding the three packages together (in my case) is enough to solve the shipping problem. Naturally, the boxes arrived damaged. The cardboard pod packages should also be placed inside a fairly rigid packaging box... transport-proof!
