05/11/2025: Mexal is a charming Mexican restaurant in the heart of Lecce: the atmosphere is authentic and meticulously crafted, with a colorful and welcoming setting that instantly conveys the warmth of Mexico. The menu offers tasty, beautifully presented dishes, with an average quality/price ratio. The staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. I didn't particularly enjoy the quesadilla, which I expected to have fresh mushrooms instead of pickled mushrooms. My chicken burrito was good, but overall the cuisine remains solid and consistent with the offerings. A recommended restaurant for those seeking a genuine and convivial Mexican experience in a cheerful and refined atmosphere.
