Exceptional place, very well kept and truly beautiful

In the small square in the center of town, a pleasant but somewhat anonymous atmosphere. The food is good, along with appetizers, but the service is extremely slow and disorganized.

The ambiance was truly lovely, and we enjoyed the food—no complaints there. Unfortunately, our food took a very, very long time to clear away, which somewhat dampened the overall impression. Additionally, the waiters constantly moved the tables and chairs throughout our stay—each time by what felt like only 1 cm. At one point, I wondered if they were secretly playing Tetris. 😉

The burgers were good, but the plates were so popular that they were allowed to stay with us for 35 minutes – perhaps as an art project called "Still Life with Ketchup." The waiters took over the evening program with a new discipline: musical chairs – with tables only. They seemed so sleepy that you'd think they were about to fall asleep themselves before the winner was announced. And then there was Curly-Haired Erna: with sunglasses, wild, messy hair, and a headset, she walked around as if she weren't tending the bar, but managing a Beyoncé concert. You almost didn't dare speak to her – maybe you needed a backstage wristband. To top it all off, someone told a joke: "Why doesn't the fish wear shoes? Because the banana is already asleep." Pointless, but at least consistent. The ambiance in the middle of the square: top-notch. Three stars—one for the burger, one for Curly-Erna, one for the best “Musical Chairs” we’ve ever seen.

Touted online as the best coffee in San Teodoro... I understand the influx of tourists, but as an Italian, I can tell you that a decent coffee shouldn't cost €2.50. Poor quality for the price!
