Near Alba Cathedral. Stefania and her staff are always attentive and courteous. The new location is smaller than the previous one. We ordered the Cuneo tasting. Good value for money.

Given the choice between expensive tourist fare and standardized products, we chose this clean bistro with small plates of genuine Langhe quality. The menu is designed for an easy, no-frills meal, but it features the authentic flavors of the Langhe (Russian salad with homemade tuna mayonnaise), and veal with tuna sauce cooked pink!!! Excellent wine list...served at the right temperature! (Not ordinary!) Friendly and accommodating staff.

Really lovely restaurant with incredibly friendly staff, absolutely enjoyed the tajarin (we were lucky enough to get it with the white truffle) and the house made hazelnut cake (torta di nocciola).

Al Caminetto

03/11/2025: A completely renovated restaurant and pizzeria in Campiano di Talamello, it's a simple place, excellent for all occasions, especially more informal ones. It offers ample parking. The menu is the daily menu (without a matching wine list), which ensures the freshness of at least most of the ingredients. The only shame is the lack of an "Appetizers" section. The dishes are good, tasty, and generous in portions. A special mention goes to the stringozzi with purslane, a truly delicious herb, a must-try for those unfamiliar with it! The main courses are on par with the first courses, and the homemade wood-fired bread is truly delicious. The baked potatoes, however, need some work (they were a bit tough). Finally, I hear the pizza is also good. In short, if you want to eat something authentic and typical of the area, without spending too much, Al Caminetto is the place to go!

02/11/2025: We were a group of 20 people, and we ordered 20 different piadinas for two days in a row, Saturday and Sunday. Two very busy days, yet despite the short notice, we received everything in order, everything remained hot and freshly made. Very good food, and the staff were super friendly and helpful! If we return to this area, we'll definitely see you again.
13/10/2025: A wonderful surprise. I thought there wouldn't be any tables for dining, but there was a comfortable summer terrace in front. The dishes were generous and well-seasoned. We had tagliolini with Adriatic clams (lupins); the dish was excellent, with lots of seafood. We then had a piadina for two (stracchino, arugula, and prosciutto). The toppings were excellent; the piadina dough wasn't exceptional, but it was decent. For drinks, we had two and a half bottles of local white wine. If I were the owners, I'd also consider keeping whole bottles chilled. They're cheaper. Highly recommended, though! I'll definitely be back.
