This was one of the best experiences and interactions we had while cycle touring through Piacenza. We stopped at Breakbar for a quick caffè in the afternoon and Fabio and his wife were very warm and accommodating. We started talking to Fabio about our cycling trip and he was tremendously helpful and provided us with ideas for where to go. It turned out he was also an avid cyclist! He made an amazing aperol spritz and prepared us snacks while we waiting for the random hail/rain to subside that afternoon. We were very grateful to have met him! We really appreciate his hospitality.

Break Bar, in the sense that it is the perfect bar for a break, whether long or short. Being in a street perpendicular to via XX Settembre, it is very convenient for a stop in the centre. In its simplicity, there is a pleasant atmosphere both inside and outside. The owners were very kind, delicious from start to finish, while the croissants were excellent, considering that they are bar products. I have never found good mini-croissants, but after this occasion I had to change my mind. The coffee was also delicious, although I prefer it stronger. I don't usually find the Hag brand around. A nice discovery, come on.

07/03/2025: Feeling at home is an understatement. The owner, Arianna, was extremely helpful. We celebrated our little prince's birthday with the family. We were so unsure about how it would turn out, but what can I say? It exceeded our expectations; it felt like we'd known each other for YEARS, and the food was excellent. Of course, as with everything, there's room for improvement, but in life, you never stop improving. Highly recommended for everyone; go even to celebrate an anniversary. Also recommended for those who just need to stop by. Make sure to book, you won't be disappointed. See you next time, Arianna. I forgot to mention the negative things I write...nobody's perfect, including YOU.
