This restaurant offers real Apulian cuisine! The owner is very welcoming and the service is very competent (very good advice on choosing wine). The candied eggplants were the best I've ever had (I wish I had the recipe) and the pasta was delicious, as were the bombettes! I really enjoyed it and I recommend this establishment!

We went back to La Putea with our friends who came to Lecce for a visit. We have been there many times and it is our favorite place. This visit was very special with our friends as one is a Vegan and one a vegetarian who was gluten intolerant. Lydia and Chef Giuseppe were outstanding with their great food and service. They provide gluten free bread and pasta as well as preparing a great vegan meal of homemade pasta with chickpeas (on the menu!). They made sure there was no cheese on or in it. One of friends ordered lasagna and said it was the best ever. Thank you Lydia and Guiseppe for a fantastic night. Grazie Mille Catarina Marangelli.

I really have the physical - as well as moral - need to reconfirm it: Lidia, Giorgia and the rest of the staff are not only wonderful people, but who literally make you feel at home. It goes without saying that the food here is divine and that I have yet to find a new restaurant with human warmth and delicacy at the levels of those offered by Putea. Each course is truly exquisite (not to mention from another planet. At least, for me and for those who often accompany me it is like this. This place, just a few meters away from Porta Napoli, continues to be the best refreshment point in Lecce.

A fantastic discovery! A place that is a wedding favor set in the beautiful Lecce a stone's throw from Porta Napoli. We were immediately struck by the welcome of the owners, kind and attentive. We sat down and the menu was explained to us, also offering off-the-card dishes. We chose to try the really good house wine, excellent appetizers. Superlative first and second courses and, finally, exquisite desserts. The particularity of the dishes is not only the goodness of the preparation and quality of the products, but the dive literally into the past, into the flavors of the Salento tradition, in reliving the aromas of grandmother's dishes. What can I say... thank you so much! We will be back as soon as possible to taste more of your splendid menu. Compliments
