Our first night in Lecce, and the apartment's host recommended it to us. It's located on a pedestrian street, and the interior is like a courtyard. Very pleasant, quiet atmosphere, and the staff was attentive. We only stayed in the restaurant. The food was delicious.

Lovely cozy place and the staff was absolutely helpful especially Rebeca. Would definitely come back.

I ordered some veal meatballs that were actually very tasty, then a plate of spaghetti with swordfish and lemon (decent). I was surprised to hear that the owner offered an off-menu item to two guests who sat down a few minutes after me. I wasn't offered the same thing, maybe because I was alone or they didn't like me... well. The bathroom lacked soap and something to dry your hands.

Suggestive location, kind staff and delicious dishes. In addition there is a wide choice of local food also suitable for those who are vegetarian like me.

We went to the restaurant. The ambiance is unusual—you sit in a high vaulted room (formerly a gateway?), quite interesting and inspiring. The friendly staff speaks English quite well, but there's also an English menu. The grilled eggplant starter was deliciously marinated, but you'd have to be a big fan of olive oil to finish the whole portion. The polpettini, on the other hand, were delicious enough to eat. We didn't take any risks with the main course today. Oricchette and other pasta dishes were delicious. The house wine was a mistake—better to spend a bit more and order a bottle from the cellar.

This restaurant offers real Apulian cuisine! The owner is very welcoming and the service is very competent (very good advice on choosing wine). The candied eggplants were the best I've ever had (I wish I had the recipe) and the pasta was delicious, as were the bombettes! I really enjoyed it and I recommend this establishment!

We went back to La Putea with our friends who came to Lecce for a visit. We have been there many times and it is our favorite place. This visit was very special with our friends as one is a Vegan and one a vegetarian who was gluten intolerant. Lydia and Chef Giuseppe were outstanding with their great food and service. They provide gluten free bread and pasta as well as preparing a great vegan meal of homemade pasta with chickpeas (on the menu!). They made sure there was no cheese on or in it. One of friends ordered lasagna and said it was the best ever. Thank you Lydia and Guiseppe for a fantastic night. Grazie Mille Catarina Marangelli.

Business dinner, we had mixed starters, a mix of first and second courses and dessert, all fresh and excellent!
