BO.CA - Bottega Calabra In Tropea

I had been living in Tropea for a few weeks and this place and their sister restaurant, la dispensa by boca, are my favorite spots by far. The food is amazing, I enjoyed every meal and kept going back. I tried a few of the pasta dishes and main courses, and all are delicious, including the friesian sirloin steak, which was perfectly cooked. the three course tasting menu is a very good value. All of the seafood was very fresh and very well prepared. I loved how they mixed flavors and explored new ways of incorporating Calabrese staples. Each meal was a really fun foodie experience. The wine selection is also excellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and excited about the food and wine. It’s also beautiful as it is in the square next to the duomo. This is a must visit when in Tropea, enjoy!

Maybe (even without maybe) the best sandwich I've ever tasted. Everything prepared meticulously, a relaxing environment and friendly, trained staff. Medium-high prices (my octopus sandwich cost €19) but everything compared to the quality of the food and the magnificent town of Tropea.

The location is a little quieter on the edge of the old town. The outside seating is on the side in a small square. We had the Autumn Burger and the Pistachio Burger with potato wedges. The burgers were excellent and different than the standards you get everywhere. The service was friendly and quick. Perfect and the burgers are really recommended.

Essen gut, preislich ok, aber Bedienung unfreundlich und unkundig. War alles nicht entspannt und locker, sondern gedrängt und angestrengt. Würde nicht mehr hingehen

Very nice restaurant, we had the beef fillet and the burger classic, both were really delicious. The beef fillet was very tender and perfectly fried. Highly recommended👍😊

A well located venue, ideal for a relaxing evening. Especially when you find a cuisine with dishes from Calabrian culture but revisited with great attention to detail. Tuvimos el sarro para compartir como entrada. Los ravioles de berenjena. El vientre de cerdo. El sarro es uno de los mejores que he probado. Sencillez en su máxima expresión. Carne bien comprada. Aceite de oliva. Rodajas de sal y trufa. ¡Morir por! Los raviolis estaban perfectamente cocidos y las berenjenas del interior todavía tenían un crujido. El vientre de cerdo, aunque un poco masticable, era abundante y sabroso. Ser de Canadá. Esperaba que fuera más crujiente. Con todo. 10 - 10 .
