Bistrò Pizzeria In Sora

05/07/2025: This trattoria is a bit confusing... It tries to fit into haute cuisine, but the service and the dishes offered do not reflect this, while the prices do. And that is never a good thing. It starts with a fixed menu at €55 with 4 appetizers, 2 first courses (presented as one certain and one maybe), 1 second course and dessert... The first appetizer is very good in flavors, but it is a pappa al pomodoro (low cost and preparation), the second appetizer is a green salad (and it is not a joke), the third 2 slices of watermelon transformed into carpaccio (if it had been real carpaccio it would have been better), the last a very good vegetable soup with stuffed flower. The first courses are excellent tortellini in broth and like tagliolini with tomato sauce, very simple, not very tasty. The second course I found to be a joke (especially considering the €55 menu) with 2 measly slices of roast beef, 1/2 horn pepper and a bunch of sautéed vegetables... the dessert selection was banal and 80s-style (Bigne, Cannolo and zuppa inglese). The bread was excellent There is no wine list, but you have to get up and look at the fridge with 5/6 wines... and I also found an ant in the first dessert, I pointed it out and they replaced it but no discount or apology was given, a simple "yesterday we were overrun, it can happen"...
