A simple place with a simple menu but in the end you always leave more than satisfied. Clean place with friendly staff ADVISE!

Positive experience. We will definitely be back. Very friendly and helpful managers and staff. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed local food that was delicious to say the least. I recommend the gnocchi with duck ragù 😋.. the grilled meat is also very good

The most unexpected gastronomic experience. We stopped by completely by chance. Nobody speaks English, but that didn't hurt at all! Furnishings, serving, etc. not at all modern and devoid of glamour. Which in this particular case is a 100% plus!!! They didn't bring us menus. We ordered simply from categories - fish, meat. The food was excellently prepared. Our waiter is the height of friendliness! The result is an unexpectedly pleasant evening!

After a walk around Barcis it was the only place they allowed us to have lunch as it was 2.30pm. Unfortunately in Friuli I have had these problems other times, at 2.00 pm sharp the kitchens closed, and those who go on an excursion are not always able to respect the timetable. The businesses should have longer opening hours in the summer period. However, the very kind managers of the Tavernetta combined a cold lunch for us with simple but well-prepared dishes and very fresh salad, I believe partly also from the garden. At the end, a cheerful slice of fresh and delicious watermelon. Still house red wine superior to many unsuitable wines that are served around. All the staff paid us the utmost attention and the bill was a pleasant surprise, around €15 per person.
