VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE ! Saturday, Sept 23rd was our last full day ion our 4 day vacation in Salerno. NEW STUFF ! My wife and I love trying new places and found this espresso bar on Corso Vittorio Emanuele...the huge pedestrian mall which runs through downtown Salerno. It was around 11am and we felt like cappuccinos plus a sweet snack so we popped inside. A friendly guy named Simone behind the counter greeted us in a welcoming manner. We ordered 2 x Double Shot Cappuccinos at the bar and selected a cute looking Chocolate Covered Dessert from their huge pastry selection. A barista named Celeste made our rich tasting double shot cappuccinos....trust me they were rich tasting in their little 8 oz cups which was pretty much the norm in Italy. I went to use the bathroom and there was no toilet paper.....we are in bidet country. Celeste kindly fetched me a roll of toilet paper. The little chocolate dessert tasted fine...nothing exceptional. Simone was telling me they serve dinner in the evenings...I did see the large dining room out the back. A GOOD COFFEE SPOT !
